  1. It has a lot to do with the animals fight or flight mechanism ...a unsuspecting animal in general will kick about alot less than a spooked animal that was ready to run just before you pulled the trigger. If the animal was on high alert then with the type of quarry we generally shoot (prey animals) then its flight programme will be loaded adrenaline ready to pump ready to fire at the first confirmation of danger that's normally the sound of the gun if sub sonic. But luckily fof us our pellet reaches its box before it can react fully and escape but its body is still serging with adrenaline he

    Firkin Boots

A 20 year old pair of wellies....pmsl. Where you wearing.....in the house... A 20 year old pair of wellies....pmsl. Where you wearing.....in the house...I'd much rather wear boots and gators so the wellies are a last resort or if I do a bit of fishing ...just feed them a bit of baby oil every now and then keeps em supple. One thing I'll say Kanny is that 20 years ago Hunter were the BEST but nowadays they're substandard.I bought a pair of Balmorals last year. 4 months I got out of them. IMO a lot of wellies nowadays are like shooting clothing, they're made for those who stand at a peg look

  7. They reap what they sow and about time... As said It's a shame that a organisation that started out with good intentions has been hijacked by those with a political agenda... Shows how much these nutters really think about animal welfare... They just use it for there own gain and the animals they are supposed to be protecting come way down there list of priorities.
