Get your spade out and get digging stig lol, a nice koi pond should do the trick. Had a 12 ft x 8 ft, 7 ft deep (with about 2 ft raised), years ago, all sorts of expensive koi, ghost koi, orfe, sturgeon, goldfish etc, massively expensive filtration system the £ that my dad put into that was serious

Had a similar issue and Socks recommended Bicarb of soda in a bit of warm water, dip the affected areas in, bobs your uncle fannies your aunt -
