That's fair enough, there's not much else you can do if the owner isn't around but I read a post earlier suggesting the dog should be destroyed as well as getting compensation......that's bollocks !My big dog leathered one of my goats the other week, it's not his fault as the area I came from was all arable so he has never seen stock other than what he got pointed at on a slip. He is worth more to me that a thousand f***ing goats so I put it down to a mishap and improved my precautions. Coming over here, killing our goats... :no:

One of my bulldogs is a c**t for that I'll be strolling down the street with him and he suddenly dives under a parked car and a cat comes flying out of the other side. Happens on every fecking walk My bitch used to be ok with cats, and then one day a tom walked up and had a go, since then she takes every chance to f**k one up, every chance she gets. Hell hath no fury like a bitch scorned I'd make sure you don't cross her, she obviously holds a grudge

For a first attempt that's fecking brilliant, I've seen much worse done by so called professionals. You've obviously got the knack for it, keep at it and you'll only get better
