  1. Thats like saying murder is part of society,we will never be able to stop it......so we might as well legalise it. If we give up on the rules of sport then we give up on sport itself. I reckon there's a big difference between PED taking and murder, how do we tackle it then? Making sure the agencies that test for them are properly funded and independent would be a start Making PEDs legal to use would open up so many chances for abuse it'd be a disaster, young kids just getting into sport being pressured to use them etc you really don't believe they are pressured into taking drugs n

Is it "normal" to support a bunch of violent lunatics that drag this country down, not to mention the endemic rape/pedophilia? I don't think so. Traitor You're talking about politicians right?
  3. Sambo ? Reported for '70s racist terms........... Brown every time. Made my own ketchup once, but the bottled stuff is disgusting ! My youngest stepson puts it on everything. I've known him out it on a curry !! My Da does that, every plate of food that goes in front of him gets smothered in red sauce before he's even tasted it, used to drive my Mam fecking mental

  5. Unlike the EBT the show wheaton was specifically bred to take the fire out of them, I wouldn't fancy your chances of making a capable worker out of one you could be better off with a kerry blue if you really want to mess about with big terriers from show lines, they seem to still have a bit of fire in their belly. Honestly though if you're going to spend years (probably decades honestly) of your life trying to find a prospect out of show lines why not just import a real working type wheaton from Ireland?

There's plenty of white muslim converts mate, no doubt some will need transplants at some stage. But its not just that, as Wilf says they could do a lot more to improve health in general, clean the place up, agree to a sugar tax, ban f***ing tobacco, close all the Mc Donalds...ect, stop people carrying genetic faults breeding, or limit them to one child...........but no mate, their answer is to guilt trip everyone into allowing their organs to be used for spare parts to prop up their failings............Just state control. So you want the state to control even more of your life? You
  7. Gypsy lad I knew years and years ago was big into the bulldogs and had DEAD GAME across his knuckles, I thought it was the dogs bollocks back then but I'm fecking glad I never got them done now
  8. I had an accident where a very young dog (4months) managed to get hold of a bitch in season, honestly didn't think he'd be up to the job so didn't take all necessary precautions. Anyway the point is when I had an accident I took the bitch to the vet for the jab, I didn't decide to try and spin some money out of my mistake. Does anyone bother actually dealing with accidental litters anymore or as soon as the dogs "accidentally" tie do the pound signs pop up in their eyes?
  9. It's great how the totally switch on when it gets dark isn't it, like totally different dogs that's a trait I always like to see early on in pups it shows they know their job IMO
  10. Not really mate quite a few pressa types but they're not really my cup of tea.All the ones I've met seem to be switched on all the time and never seem to be relaxed.Im no expert on neos or neo based bandogs but like anything I get into I make a point of researching and meeting as many as I can and they all seem to act exactly the same and carry the same traits.Like for instance when we're training sleeve work when the decoy slips the sleeve you run a little circuit with the dog carrying the sleeve as a little reward.Every neo or cross I've seen work spits the sleeve out as soon as the decoy s

  12. African hunting dogs Or hyenas, they seem to have a real interesting social structure would be great to be right in amongst it.
  13. Really like the sound of the neo influenced bandogs, never owned one myself always been DDB/EM/BM influenced lines, stayed away from the neo types because I've personally never met what I would consider a fit and healthy pure. Do you have any experience with bandogs bred from other mastiff types downsouth? Wondering how you think they compare

    Corbyn

We have to be worried about Corbyn as he could do more damage to this country than any other politicianNo mate he's too late. His other pals Blair and Brown have already seen to that. Don't think he'd describe them as his pals
  15. In my experience bandogs aren't really dog aggressive as such just very dominant with other dogs, similar to how a lot of male rottweilers are. I've known a couple of bandog types kept by women as pets and they've been your typical "gentle giant" temperament without an aggressive bone in their body and atleast one of them was from quite serious lines with its littermates all going to working homes so I'd say they can adapt to their surroundings quite well. It's when they get a bit of half arsed training from some muppet that has no clue what they're doing that they can become a liability
  16. Comes under the same reasonable force laws as defending yourself I believe, if your dog nails an attacker and stops when you call it off you'll be alright but if it's out of control laying into someone it doesn't matter what they did to provoke it. Before the change in the DDA a woman I knew had a break in and her staff absolutely savaged the guy really left him in a state, when the police turned up the dog handler gave the staff a treat and thanked it for doing their job for them not sure how the changes to the law would effect that situation, I think I remember there was specific clause p

  18. That's the thing SHOULD unfortunately many have problems ranging from nervousness to over aggressiveness and don't get me started on the nemerous physical and health problems that seem to be becoming more and more common with them. Any big breed that gets popular suffers this,I thought the split between performance bred ones and the big show ones might have helped. The problem is perforce is just a word.Hardly anyone are out performing any task with them. Most just call them working lines because of a few legendary names 6 generations back on a pedigree that half the time was fabricated by s

  23. Always admired the bull arabs and other crossbred aussie boar dogs sure the bull arabs could be useful in mastiff/bandog breeding programs but I've never heard of any being imported to Europe or the states, shame really.
  24. Fair enough pal Will check out the old threads, always liked the look of those alaunts never had the pleasure of meeting one in the flesh and seeing how they work though.
  25. Only ever met one in the flesh but it was a formidable animal the Soviets did a lot of breeding with them really refining them from a rustic LGD into a serious patrol/sentry dog, they still use them in prisons and military installations over there. I prefer the kangals as far as LGDs go though, a bit lighter and less psychotic
