  4. Definitely starting earlier next year its no good waiting for cover the die down and cold weather for ferreting because thats about now and its too late. I started late august this year but kept looking at the hedges and think mmm they will get better soon but they never really did. The dog likes cover any way NOT but his working hedges like a trooper now covering every inch with his nose I had to lift the silly sod back out of here after gave it the old pounce technique and failed but 10/10 for enthusiasm as all ways

  9. I punctured one of them clear sacks of fluid once and I had a rabbit in the oven for dinner at the time I really had a job to get it down but persevered lol

  11. I tried that last year and it worked only for about 15-20 seconds and I also put a paraffin soaked rag or two along the row and it seemed to do the trick oh and I planted heavy. If I didn't use some thing I lost the lot
  12. Very true I got the strimmer out last night and did the paths took the dog for some company and get him out. He let me know theres a shed load of mice along my path and in the compost waiting for me to sow me peas

  14. all the info you could need is online now a days or at least pointers in the right direction. Or you could ask on one of the many forums inc this one. You will get a dozen different answers maybe but you can find the one that works for you and the dog

  19. I have a treble off moxy and to be honest its a bloody work of art solid,light and really well made. But if I am honest I would have liked the compartments a tad bigger but thats just me
