I would agree with you on that one,Picked up two sandy jill kits of a bloke as I was choosing which to have I said to him "christ mate you must have handled these a lot". He replied "they have had hardly any as i've been so busy working", I've not had a single nip or bite. He did say the parents never have bit, so yes I think there is some thing in what you say. Does it really make that much difference. My older hob is fine never bit me once (he was a rescue) I thought spending an hour with them every other day now there abit older would be fine?? I ain't asking why there biting by the way if you read my post its about how hard can they bit at that age Once they are set in there ways and used to be handled you don't need to handle every day. It don't hurt but once they trust you it is in the bag so worth putting extra effort in when they are young The answer to how hard is pretty hard mine demolish chicken carcasses bones and all for the most

I normally buy the icelands ones lol Yea the aldi ones are not bad either They are easy enough to make though not all yorkshires are equal. You don't want a flat doughy thing. Beef, Lamb, chicken then pork. You have to have a good roast and I don't care what day it is on either. I was spoiled by me grans roast and yorkshires that you could hardly get out the oven. Bloody amazing grub. I try and follow her steps. Got to admit i rarely make my own yorkies though as we don''t have them every roast. Also you have to admit good old aunt bessy are not that bad. I just find them reassuring more than any thing when your on your own. I was ferreting some holes by a dual carriageway last year in a thick old hedge. The dog was tied because of the road so my extra pair of eyes/ears where out of commission. The bloody drone off the traffic was non stop. The ferret was gone some time and started to worry she slipped out and I hadn't heard her bells. A quick scan with the locator down either side found nothing so then I really started to worry. Just a blip I reckon mine is the same. Last year straight back at full tilt. This year so far after a lazy summer and going out on light nights and even artificial light from road lights with quite a few rabbits hopping about. No way was that dog coming straight back if he could see rabbits with out the lamp. Silly me . Some work and dark nights will have him back on track same as yours Might help to pick a few fields with out much in too. Not a problem here

I think what is most concerning is the comments like I wouldn't want my children too see some thing like that. What a hocked hare hanging up. Christ a few years back a butcher down the road had wild boar and all sorts of game dangling from his shop front. It was bloody great Joe public has no understanding what so ever now a days
