    The usual christmas day - bleary eyed watching the kids open pressies, struggled thru til lunch on a beer or two, rec'd some nice scotch n wine in presents (useful!), got forced to be sociable and go to sons girlfriends parents house in a couple of days. Lovely lunch and then the inevitable nap! Endurable, but I'm looking forward to getting out ferreting with Cardoc after boxing day

    Steady with the oil Rob, a little too much will take a while to come out in the wood. Especially when it's warm it'll come out in your skin and cloths. Once the stock stops absorbing the oil, don't be tempted to add 'that little bit extra'. The oil shouldn't darken the wood too much more though. Very pleased you are enjoying your new rifle mate
