  1. Also, if someone is stupid enough to break into my house, damn right I want em to bleed from wounds inflicted by the members of the household who bite! The intruder/criminal better just be thankful the dogs beat me to it!
  2. My major concern here is its history repeating itself. Who is seeking tighter control of firearms? The majority who know almost nothing about firearms but are scared of them. Who is wanting to introduce more laws governing so-called dangerous dogs? People who don't know a lot about dogs, but who are scared of them. We need to start introducing laws governing middle-class middle england who keep infringeing on the rights of others who just mind their own business and go about getting on with things.
  3. It's funny when people shout about statistics, but when put in to context are just ridiculous. Compare dog attacks to the number of people of people who get hurt whilst pissed, and the amount they cost the NHS and suddenly it seems daft ...and then there's smoking...
  4. hey man, the only camels foot he gets is when he pulls his trouse up too high
  5. I love her dearly, but f**k my wifes getting on my tits!

  6. Very little touches my own plum wine of 2008 vintage - guests leave happy, enjoy the wine, but don't remember that much the next day
  7. crumbed crispy pheasant breast strips and deep fried camembert with garlic mayonaise and iceberg lettuce, romany if you're posh. Eat slowly and start about 40 mins before the main is served. Bucks Fizz is a good aperitif (but I'm common!)
  8. Do they still chant "Geef ons onze fietsen terug" at Dutch/German football matches?
  9. old army trick, my grandpa swears by it to this day
  10. piss in them and wear them for a day, rinse and repeat. They should soon be supple enough.
  11. Fair point UMAA. Its possible you may get a days shooting with another decent member, permission in general is less likely though mate. First post too Biff. good luck to you fella, Duncan.
  12. That's if you've got the right Newport lols! D.
  13. Maybe I'm getting sappy in my old age, but I love the first pic
  14. The bottom left corner pic is what my 10 week old practises on the cats in the house without the actual killing. See! Cats do serve a purpose!
  15. Welcome aboard Mate, good to have another airgunner aboard. Don't pay swagboy any heed - some people have no social graces. The only stereotype that runs thru my head when I see SA mentioned is "diplomatic immunity", but then I am of a certain age that enjoyed the Lethal Weapon films. 'Hope you enjoy your time with us. Why donderkop? Means thick head doesnt it? Cheers Duncan.
  16. I found the same thing from the mobile, not all functions work. Welcome to the forum though Duncan
  17. Welcome aboard mate. So you're 19? Good age. D
  18. thats a hell of a nice bag mate - well done to you! Duncan Ps what were you using? Rimmie and subs?
  19. Stuffed to capacity on rabbit stew :)

  20. Hi George, welcome to THL mate. D.
  21. It depends on the staff IMHO. I've got two, both pedigrees - one was incredibly fast in her prime and would probably have gotten plenty of rabbits had I only tried her (doh!) she is the longer legged, more aristocratic type staff. The other is nowhere near as fast- too muscular and thick set to be quick.
  22. I don't mind taking you out for a bit of airgunning mate, when the gales subside. Obviously subject to distance. Farmers can be a clique for sure and no doubt get let down by people offering a good pest control job that don't deliver. It's a matter of trust too. We ask them to let us on their land often with firearms, airguns and or dogs. Cheers Duncan
