  13. proper cartoons with great characters.
  14. strange things dogs you cant tell what they will do by looking at them. seen dogs you would never expect tackle foxes and dogs you think will deffinatly do them not touch them. i think you underestimate the old fox a little bird. one dog one fox was great sport on the lamp preban especially once mister fox new the crack and realised there was a dog up his arse. seen some tough foxes in my time.
  15. my dad brought me a adult lurcher to lurcher bred dog of a guy in the pub when i was 15. brindle dog called jinx caught 30 rabbits a night regular the bloke reckoned, what a fecking joke that was. never known a dog like it in my life for barking even barked in its sleep. it would catch the first rabbit of the night and run to the other end of the field eat the head and just lie there until you walked over and fetched the rabbit. it did partly retrieve every rabbit after that. it wouldnt jump or run a hare. it wasnt long before me old chap was selling it to another guy in another pub
  16. once my pup has had its first jab at 8 weeks i take them out with me lamping every time i go out and pretty much just let them get on with it. heres my dogs first lamping trip on his own at 5 months and a week old. the weather was decent with strong winds and it was pitch black. i went to one of the spots with the easyiest caught rabbits
  17. that first photo is a cracker socks. great score of rabbits and looked to be well worth the traveling.
  18. my brother inlaw got give a spaniel bitch with a long tail which he got working and also had the problem of the end bleeding during and after working her. vet took it off no problem. i can not remember what he was charged for it though.
  19. if you got the right collie blood personally i reckon it would be more benificial then good saluki blood for both rabbit and deer job.
  20. if i had to choose out of the two for myself i would have the collie/grey X bull grey
  21. something similiar in build and size to what i have allready got. i wouldnt mind trying a mallinios/greyhound.
  22. ive fired a few tins of pellets through mine i am using jsb exacts and its been put on a chrono and its 11.4
  23. i feed dry food and lots of meat daily during the winter months when working my dog hard. in the summer months i cut the dogs daily intake of meat down to once or twice a week and feed enough dry food daily to keep the dog looking well. he also has the table scraps from the house all year round.
