strange things dogs you cant tell what they will do by looking at them. seen dogs you would never expect tackle foxes and dogs you think will deffinatly do them not touch them. i think you underestimate the old fox a little bird. one dog one fox was great sport on the lamp preban especially once mister fox new the crack and realised there was a dog up his arse. seen some tough foxes in my time.

my dad brought me a adult lurcher to lurcher bred dog of a guy in the pub when i was 15. brindle dog called jinx caught 30 rabbits a night regular the bloke reckoned, what a fecking joke that was. never known a dog like it in my life for barking even barked in its sleep. it would catch the first rabbit of the night and run to the other end of the field eat the head and just lie there until you walked over and fetched the rabbit. it did partly retrieve every rabbit after that. it wouldnt jump or run a hare. it wasnt long before me old chap was selling it to another guy in another pub

i feed dry food and lots of meat daily during the winter months when working my dog hard. in the summer months i cut the dogs daily intake of meat down to once or twice a week and feed enough dry food daily to keep the dog looking well. he also has the table scraps from the house all year round.

great little vid that rew. looks to me like the black dog had a red lead on during the one run, you dont want that happening to often could end badly for the dog.

never seen a first X beddy/grey working but if they are anything like the first X beddy/whippets i have seen then i could only imagine they could be handy dogs.

had a phone call from bird just after teatime last night to arrange a trip out next week but during the phone call i asked him if he fancied a night out on the lamp but only if another chap let me down. the forecast was looking good for a decent nights lamping and we didnt make it out on the wednesday night has planned due to it being foggy. bird ended up coming out with me. we got to a spot where the rabbits are hard caught on the first few fields because they are on a steep bank, the fields are not massive but they are divided into smaller sections buy sheep fencing which meant the dogs
