  1. the rain was about the only thing in your favour. the moons up and although there was good cloud cover it was still a light night the rabbits could see where they were going and were flying into the hedges where i was. you are working a young dog that you have brought in so i wouldnt be to disapointed as its only your second time out with the dog from what i can gather reading your post on here.
  2. if they wanted to keep something like that a secret when they were at the top of there game i cant see them saying they had done it at any other point in there lifes. it one of those things we will never know the answer too. its amazing how much stuff comes out about folk when they are not about to defend there selves.
  3. great stuff gaz. the pup appears to be coming on great. all those steady walks and trips out with the bike should have prepared the pup well physically.
  4. the wiring is a pain in the arse. first thing i do with my new lamp is strip it apart and rewire it. i do away with the switch as switches can play up when wet or covered in blood. ive got my lamp set up so has i touch 2 wires together on the back of it much better job altogether imo. ive never needed to replace the wiring upto the bulb though. i always poke plenty of wire back up into the handle and put a small cable tie round the wire and a good amount of electrical tape round that just to stop it pulling back through and breaking the remainder of the original wiring in the handle.
  5. great stuff. all though i nearly always use nets its nice to watch a dog catching bolting rabbits.
  6. tripe should do the job. worm him feed the tripe and see how you get on. i feed my dogs mince chicken, and a mixed mince of lamb and beef. it dont stink the place out and does the dogs tidy along with dry meal aswell.
  7. good luck with them rew. hopefully all will be good now.
  8. ok mate. thats fecked that idea then. i run a 30 watt through my tracer 170. i got my lamps confused. I will show you the 150 LED this winter trigger mate. I reckon you will be impressed mate. I sure was. ok mate. look forward to it.

  12. there was one in my town about 15 years ago use to pester the feck out of me for money and anyone else he thought he could get a few quid out of. nice young lad but just down on his luck. i didnt like him pestering me and use to feck him off. eventually he got the message and didnt ask me anymore so i started giving money from time to time and use to say to him thats for not pestering me all the time. his face was a picture then one morning he just wasnt there anymore and it turned out he had died of a drug overdose. i sort of missed him for a while as i just got use to seeing him about.
  13. Probably will, and not that expensive when you look at what's being charged, but if the bitch had already whelped, and if there's 8/10 waiting already ? Why advertise ?? my thoughts exactly. just a bit of sales patter
  14. 10 pups have allready been reserved. but they are advertising them just incase . they could probably make a decent little dog
  15. theres a member on here called bird got a working collie greyhound he might be able to help you out.
  16. Two of these idiot types recently managed to get themselves elected to the RSPCA ruling executive - don't be too quick to dismiss ! Yes but with any luck it could be the downfall of the rspca. I love watching these numpties making fools of themselves. Try to see it from their point of view though.... You might spend many years, selectively breeding a racing bird - if you can't be bothered to do that, just spend several hundreds of pounds on one ! Then, you keep the bird in the company of dozens of it's own kind, in a spacious loft, which is regularly cleaned. Feed them the very best

  19. long nails can cause problems like you have said. if he cuts the nails and got them to a short enough length then the dogs feet will tighten up, but just how much is hard to say.
