  1. Good to see someone trying something different. But i'll stick with my bowback box, easy to carry, comfortable and light.
  2. Be interested to know what it weighs and size it is.
  3. That is cheap. Has he got any more.
  4. Good advice. Never understood why anyone would hunt a dog before they trained it. Unless of course they wanted to make it harder to train.
  5. Only heard good things about them mate. How cheap was cheap?
  6. I'm 43, when I was about 11-12 my mate had a Diana .177 pistol which we used to shoot darts into his dartboard. I got my first air rifle at 17 an Original 45 in .22 calibre. There were no scopes on it just the iron sights but that gun must have put paid to hundreds of branchers every year in the local rookery.
  7. Why leave it to chance? There's a chance she might bring it back and there's a chance she won't. Better to do some retrieve training with her in the mean time.
  8. You don't get out enough kreet. Hancock might breed more merle lurchers than anyone else but he's certainly not the only person to breed them. Great pics once again WH.
  9. Timelord has already answered your question, he's already told you the dot will be the size of a football at 30 yards. What good is that?
  10. About the thickness of your pinky 30/35 mm mate your no needing somthing like a cricket stump I wouldn't like a skelp in the mouth from you mate. Pinkies like cricket stumps.
  11. You're nowhere near accurate enough to be shooting at live quarry mate but I think you know that already. The kill zone on a pigeon's head will be less than 1" in diamater so you should be aiming to get all your pellets inside an inch circle when you zero your rifle, like the pic below. At the moment the only things you should be trying to knock over are tin cans.
  12. Cracking pics and a good read TOMO.
  13. Good write up and a good bag Davy.
  14. I have Scotland its "mine"! Here's me thinking I had sole permission on my ground.
  15. About 150yrds, would that be possible?? Are you getting your yards and feet mixed up Barky.
  16. Don't see the Nith mentioned anywhere morgan. Might have been the Annan though. How's the pup doing Auld Salmon.
  17. Have to agree with SS, good stuff that Cut and Heal.
  18. Spot on maty j, nothing can compensate you for having poor fieldcraft. Don't know how many shooters i've seen that haven't a clue about fieldcraft, they go and spend a small fortune on "the best" camoflauge gear then wonder why they can't get near enough anything to shoot it. Not saying the right gear doesn't help, I believe it does. But good fieldcraft is more important.
  19. Are wanting a price for the gun, or full kit with scope and silencer?
