    gis a laugh

A husband and wife are lying in bed one night when the husband reaches over to the bedside cabinet grabs a handfull of condoms and says to the wife, "look what i've got here, some flavoured condoms. Banana, chocolate, rasperry, cola etc etc. Let's play a game, i'll slip one on and you go below the duvet and guess what flavour it is." "Alright" replies the wife who dives below the duvet then reappears saying "cheese and onion". "Give me a chance to put one on first",says the husband.
  2. I've no doubt he'll have the bug chipp y. Bet if he hasn't asked already it won't be long before he's asking to go out again.
  3. I'd say fox, cat's eyes appear greenish in the beam. Must add i've never seen a rabbit's eyes appear white in the beam.
  4. If i'm wrong leeview I stand corrected, is there a link anywhere to the rule? If that is the case what age can a greyhound be before it's too old to be entered in a puppy competition? A pup is eligible to run in a puppy stake the season after it was born so a January pup would be able to compete the following year come October through till the end of that season last day of February by which time it would possibly 2yrs and nearly a couple of months that would be the oldest it could be others born later obviously younger, pups can also run in an all aged stake but an all aged is not all

  6. Good pics there undisputed. Got a lot of time for Collie X Greyhounds especially ones that can fill the freezer like that.
  7. The short answer is no, walking will be fine for it. I suppose you shouldn't believe everything you hear. And maybe the rest of us shouldn't believe everything you post.
  8. You're getting greyhounds mixed up with horses mate. If a greyhound is born in October it is 1 year old the following October.
  9. Sorry for the late reply, 32" leg mate.
  10. That's good going Mark, 25 rabbits would be a great bag up here.
  11. Paul, your pals not called Brookie is he?
  12. Calm down Brookie, now forget all this crap about running hares and 45 seconds and betting and just answer Paul's original question, here it is. "What's the fastest from a standing start over lets say 350 yards for arguments sake - in a straight line - Pure greyhound or Pure Saluki ?" You've only got 2 options Brookie, pure Saluki or pure Greyhound so it shouldn't be too hard for you.
  13. The original question brookie was which is the fastest a saluki or a greyhound over a straight 350yards from a standing start. From somewhere you've got the challenge involving a hare with 100 yards of a start and a time of 45 seconds. Talk about moving the goalposts. You can forget about 45 seconds brookie as a straight up 350 would be covered in less than 18 seconds by the greyhound who would win comfortably.
  14. What weight would you say the rabbits were trappa?
  15. If your not bothered why do you keep calling it a "wild or semi wild polecat"? There's no doubt it's a ferret as there's no way you'd be able to handle a polecat. Credit to you for making sure it's okay. Regarding breeding and working it, I'd be inclined to work it before I bred with it for obvious reasons.
  16. It's always good to see a wean getting a walk out. I bet he thoroughly enjoyed himself, well done Swandog.
  17. What tracks that wullie? Here's a few 325 yard track records in Ireland. Dungannon.......................17.25 Galway............................17.37 Harolds Cross...................17.16 Lifford.............................17.38 Newbridge........................17,37 Tralee.............................17.46 Waterford........................17.22 Yougal............................17.37
  18. Good bag of rabbits there Meg. It's always nice to see the youngsters out, did your daughter enjoy herself ?
  19. Most of the time I keep the lamp on [with the red filter on]. I don't shine it directly at the fox I point it to the side of it but I can still see the fox's eyes in the side glare of the beam. I keep the filter on even when it's in range and keep calling even after the dogs slipped, this allows the dog to get closer to it before it gets spooked. When it turns the filters flicked up and then the fun starts.
  20. I carry 2 jills about in a bow backed box that measures 12" long by 8" wide by 8" high. The top is 4" wide and the front is 4" high to allow for a sloaping lid. It's made with 9mm ply and 4mm ply used for the back. The pic below is a bigger box 14" long with 2 compartments which carries a hob and 2 jills but it will give you an idea of the shape.
  21. Ffs lads, the dark Pheasant you're holding up is only a poult.
  22. If you can handle it there is no way it's a wild Polecat.
  23. I'd agree, that's why I asked what it weighed and what size it was. Wouldn't fancy carrying it for far.
  24. It wasn't taking the piss, as I said in my original post it was an enormous warren. The lads had well over 100 purse nets on and there were still holes uncovered. The warren was also surrounded by long nets. They also had long nets crossing the warren, make no mistake this was a massive warren. The fact that the lads got 128 rabbits out of it fully justified the use of 14 ferrets. If you look at it the other way putting 3 ferrets into that warren That would be taking the p!ss.
  25. Depends on the size of the bury mate, pointless putting 2 or 3 ferrets in a massive bury. I've seen 14 ferrets down a enormous warren, they bolted 128 rabbits.
