I had a walk round my permission before dark tonight and managed 14 rabbits, surprisingly they were mostly 3/4 grown. I didn't see hardly any full sized or small rabbits about.

I took my mates dog out with the lamp from 11.30pm-1am on sunday night and there were plenty of rabbits about. I think they'd be out most of the night.

Personally I think it's way over priced. I haven't got a recent airgun magazine but in the Feb 2008 issue they are advertising a HW97 + 3-9x40 scope,mounts,gunbag and pellets for £319 and thats new. I think someones trying to pull a fast one. Edited to add,I'm pretty sure the silencer is an integral part of the gun.

Same here Sue,and I've never had one die on me either. It makes me wonder how the humble ferret managed to survive before the invention of the jill jab or the infertile hob,what with aplastic anemia being so deadly.

actually yes , there was abit of sarcasm in there , .. BUT on the other hand , i did say good looking dog , just you was only selling a bull x the other day and saying it only has rabbits , but we later found it not to be true , now thats not your fault granted , but again how do we or even you know this dog as only seen rabbits , as you thought the other one did , but found out to be shown bigger and jacked up . not having a go in anyway , aaaaaaaaaa and whats aaaaaaaa ? Ah c'mon now,is it not obvious.

If the jill is in season welshhound2 and in good condition as you say,having a litter shouldn't be a problem for her. Not sure about you lining her yourself though,what would the neighbours say if they caught you.

Do you seriously expect me to believe that jojoamojo? I must have been lucky over the last 25 years because if my jills are not bred from they remain in season untill they come out naturally themselves,yet in all those years I've never lost one,none of them have ever had an infection and none of them have become run down.Strange that. There's too much nonsense being written by folk who seem to know very little about ferrets.

Oooooooh! Light the blue touch paper and stand well back! I would certainly dispute that they're just toys... they're responsible for numerous pest control duties and I've racked up more results, with the 12 ft/lbs air rifle than I ever could with a rimmy or centerfire. 500 rounds of ammo for less than a tenner... Anyone else want to stick the boot in on Deker? Only kidding! But you really hurt my feelings, Deker! Just like Timjim I had to read Dekers post twice Chris before I realised he was referring to the sound moderator being a toy.

Have you tried cleaning them foyrious? It's probably just a build up of plaque caused by a poor diet,give it some raw meaty bones and you should see a difference.
