  1. did cross my mind not a bad idea tho with all the dog thefts, not aimed at the op, but they could have been anybody with anybody elses dogs so giving the dogs a scan cant be a bad thing if it has a chance of finding a stolen dog? jmo Seriously though, do you think the police are interested in finding stolen lurchers? That interested they'd buy scanners to find them? they have scanners baw, i know its rare but i know of sites that gets checked every time this particular guard is about there area and any dog with a chip is traced to see if it is stolen. the guard in question is spot

  14. its hard to know sometimes what is the best thing to do. when mine went i was told to look everywhere i thought i could and tell lads you know they were nicked and keep ear to the ground, keep it low profile and heat off the dogs and they will be moved about and might surface. I struggled to keep it together but didnt go nuts at the start, seemingly stolen dogs are keep in a quite spot till the heat dies down and it seems safe to move them, too much heat and it may be done in and just burried... truth or not i dont know as ill never get my head around the way these c**ts operate. low and b

Dont mean u not in it for the sport the whole reason we all risk it every time
  16. ive my fingers crossed for ye lads, not a nice feeling having your dogs lifted. mine luckily were kept close to home (stupid tinker fuks) and I got them back. the dog in question can make more bucks than what was stolen on me would of so the chance of it being a local fool is unlikely in my opinion.... put up the cctv on the off chance it may be recognised by somebody...
  17. this has been well covered on here last week! turn gps off on the iphone and its ok apparently. the info on facebook was taken from here and put up.
  18. Most posts are spot on and i agree, if the hole is small and the dog is big then it aint gonna happen no matter how much he wants it to. Have often dug to dead foxes where the squeeze up so tight they sufficate themselves. Usually when they run into rabbit holes to escape the hounds. Im saying it for years that for an animal thats bigger than alot of terriers you would wonder how they get into such tight places, for me personally the smaller the better for round here anyway.
  19. if he is not spannable there will be alot he wont get to..... alot bigger than what most work to fox. im sure he will get to some but then again i dont know what sort of earths you work. im sure from experience working them before you have an idea of the size of dog that can work them.
  20. not gone yet but getting very small, back riding and going hunting new years day fingers crossed. quick pic after i clipped him the other night. http://s909.photobucket.com/user/slievenamonworkingterrierclub/media/IMG_1107_zps313588d9.jpg.html http://s909.photobucket.com/user/slievenamonworkingterrierclub/media/IMG_1108_zpsaa60edf2.jpg.html
