  1. how would you know. genuine if you were simple enough to buy a dog that was stole .if you ended up with a 10,k dog of gumtree for 40 quid and some idiot coming round wanting it back do you take your 40 quid back Or do you think there stupid enough to give 10k for it in the first place so its 8k if you want it back.buissness is buissness dogs is dogs my advice is dont do business in stolen property, take your 40quid and be thankful its bein left at that for handling stolen goods!!
  2. i think you done a good thing in putting up what you have and your reason for doing so is justified by your explanation, any man thats sussing out about where you keep you dogs at night isnt asking for the fun of it. its really crazy how some of the lads on here are saying its grand to buy/pick up/ aquire dogs in order to turn them over for a profit.... its easy to comment and say watever, if your friends with one or two of these type people (like i foolishly was at one point) you think ah my dogs will never be touched.. even if they are they boys will source em and get them back for me..... T
  3. them monkeys are some jockeys!! how in the name of god would a lad go about training one to run after a hog, jump on its back and ride it like its in a rodeo!! lmao!
  4. this is the whole point...... goes to a good home. the person on the gumtrees or other sites offering there pet for free is not looking to make a profit on what they "invested" there money in when they bought there dog. im sure they are not offering it for free because it is shit or any other reason other than it is not an option to keep the dog any longer and want it to go to a good home. so the add goes up, stating our lovely xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx has to to to a new home, all we want is somebody who will look after him and give him the the same attention as we did. IMHO if any c*
  5. id eat a football before id watch lads playin it. not into it in the slitest!
  6. lovely spot down in cappoquin giro isnt it........ the scenery is serious. we do a bit over that way from time to time, alot of fun to be had with a running dog round that way!!
  7. go!! make sure ye sample the night life in town and ill bet you will go home a happy man! clonmel is good on an ordinary weekend but the weekend of the coursing it would be rocking, there will be a few stalls there and stuff aswell but its mainly the crack and session lads go for. you will be surrounded by gangs of lads that love the same thing. it is a good weekend no question. O keefes is the spot to be by night!
  8. ive had the same problem looking for a stud dog, there is only so much people will say on a computer, well not all and the ones that do reveal all and wont stop talking well ya usually have a good idea after the "sermon" they give that they are not the way to go either and are a liability!! read thread after thread, search old threads for breeds you think you might like and there will be a few posts on each thread that you know will be from sombody that knows what they are talking about. drop them a pm and tell them your story and request without being too descriptive and ask what they think.
  9. as ive said i have done my lurchers with it and there is some small bit of collie in some of them. noromectin pour on is alot cheaper than ivermection pour on and it is the exact same stuff. my last bottle cost about 40 quid and it went out of date before i used it all!! it will literally dose hundreads of dogs per bottle. about a 5year expiry date i think.
  10. first one for me and id weld to threads on it to keep the soles of me wellies in tact! it would be very similar to the bulldog round mouth that we all use around here. can see the advantage of the second one too but when you get down a bit and need to scoop out then the top one would beat the bottom one hands down IMO.
  11. haha, have to agree with the above, mountain men is brillient with the ould lad rich and his hounds huntin lions! driving along in the old jeep with the hounds tied to the bonnet waiting for a mark before he lets them off..... mad stuff!!
  12. yea lucky i checked it out, ivermec/ivermectin and noromectin are the very same but noromectin is alot cheaper. check the link here. https://www.alpacanation.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9660 the following is an article where they tested its use on dogs and had perfect results. (very long winded)!! it kills all living parasites on or in the dog, fleas, ticks, mite and most types of worms. Topical (pour-on) ivermectin in the treatment of canine scabies Manon Paradis, Caroline de Jaham, Nadia Page Abstract - The efficacy of a pour-on formulation of ivermectin at
  13. yea that is seeming true lucky. ive heard alot of different folk say about the ivormec pour on and not being suitable for collies. ive had it on a couple of lurchers in the past that had a bit of collie in them and no hassle with them but as i said the collie was well diluted in them. noromectin is the same more a less to the ivormectin as far as im aware... im sure a farmer on here could educate us better.
  14. i was told that all the pour-ons were dangerous for dogs like noromectin crovect and disect ect any experience of ivermectin jab? ive had a full shot of that in my arm and f**k THAT AGAIN! they are dangerous if you overdose with them alright. i have been using it for probably over 10 years now on hounds lurchers and terriers. genuinely good stuff. the lad in the farm supplies place always says "im not sure about this stuff on dogs you know!! i never had any issue with it anyway.
  15. i use noromectin, a blue pour on for livestock. mighty stuff.
  16. i like this little lad, have you any pics of the parents? breeding sounds interesting and in the proportions id choose for a decent all rounder i think.
  17. just out of curiosity what is good money? im not sellin anthing just curious. what would you pay more for a steady bayer or a head banger?
  18. dont know much about airport hares but it the one thing i always notice when im flying out of dublin, the place is literally crawling with hares!
  19. totally agree, times and the type of lads into the game of late have drastically changed!!
  20. if you dont want it give me his number and ill buy it and give you a few quid out of it aswell!!
  21. like paulus ive had an 02 xlt ranger, not a good machine, gearboxes give trouble, back axle falling assunder was another issue and i think head gaskets was another issue with that era. the last site i worked on had a fleet of pretty new rangers, all from 08+. seemed decent enough, good off road, and pretty average on diesel for a jeep. i went from just having a jeep, (personal use and dog work,) after a while it didnt make sence to drive it to and from work as a car with the price of diesel. then i had a jeep for the dog work and roughing about and a decent car for personal use and ev
  22. i wouldnt think twice about it jigsaw. if i bred a litter and had surplus id love to be able to say i knew i got the spare pups good homes where they will be well looked after forever.... golden retrievers and labs were originally bred for a job in the field, look how well they adapt and the affection they give to there owners when used as guide dogs..... they never saw ducks, pheasants, or any other wild life and i bet they aren't pining away to get out and do what they were originally bred for, beagles and springers are the same at airport security checks, they are all little bundles
