    My wife despite having some serious health problems on and off for the last 25 years is very positive and always has a smile for everyone. My family are great even the old mother in law is a diamond. ive very rarely been out of work for any length of time in the last 36 years so ive been lucky there.

    Sounds like you just want a bit more robustness in a dog. I dont blame you because its a bloody nuisance trying to work with the sensitive type. On the physical side genrally speaking if you stick to half crosses they will be more durable I think,and stay away from 3/4greyhounds because you will get just as many injuries unless the one you have is a bit careful of itself in which case it wouldnt do much for me personally. I like the reckless do or die attitude. I would keep a good dollop of the right whippet blood though. You would miss the good things you like about whippets I think. As for B

    i worked for the prison service as a electrician all maintenance contracts where taken over by private companies. The service is now a joke staff halved. The prison i work at is seriously understaffed at all levels and im told many are the same, I agree the service on a whole is close to collapse.

    Just go to your gp with your concerns and ask im sure he/she will sort things for you. im 52 and had chest pain for the first time mon morn went the docs and he sent me for a ecg in the afternoon which took a couple of minutes. Told me i was good to go and the results will be forwarded on in 7-10 days to my gp.Ps i hope your mum is ok.
