  1. liked watching him a tough fighter. but his age inactivity and past problems are a lot of things to deal with.
  2. only seen 1 ex track bred bitch run. she could certainly catch a hare on big open fields. dont want to put a downer on things but she only lasted 1 season killed in a bad accident at the back of a hare. hope you have good luck with yours.
  3. mick dadds repairs mk1 locators. i think he sells mk1 collars. pm if you want the phone no.
  4. i ave owned some good little bolters. also a few that i was digging to regular. 1 jill in particular. she could bolt them fine but always had to be dug to also. if i dig to a ferret my own choice is that i like a ferret to stay with its kill so i can locate it and the rabbit. i value both types.you cant guarantee what ferrets are going to turn out like.1 litter i bred some made good bolters some seemed the type to be dug to regular. these were all jills given to a few people i know.in shallow burrows i dont mind. if it is a known deep place for my area. the jill mentioned would not be used. p
  5. the pup and you sound like you are doing fine. seen quite a few beddy/whippet types over the years. decent determined little workers. good luck with the pup.
  6. had 2 collie/lurcher x saluki lurchers. trained quite easy but were in general quite sensitive. both made good rabbit dogs /day night and decent hare dogs thats all they were run on. my best bitch ever was from this breeding.
