thanks guys! most people are saying the same now and its to take her out ferreting! and will get her out this sept with the ferrets and try a few nights lamping when her prey drive kicks in. Would it be worth taking her out with the lamp at night and just letting her see rabbits in the light or not?.... Ross click on articles at the top of the forum then click on working dogs then click on starting a lurcher pup lamping by wild rover in my humble opinion a excellent guide to starting a young dog off on the lamp.

Lovely pup lawrence.ive heard good things about the dogs terry and his lad breed. The best of luck with yours.

I would also let the pup get to some ferreted rabbits in the net first. Not all dogs are world beaters from day one with prey drive through the roof. build her confidence with netted rabbits and progress from there. alll dogs are different she stilll maybe imature mentally and lacking confidence. just small steps at a time without overfacing her. the penny will drop. good luck for the future. as she gets more experienced she may start to anticipate were the rabbits are going to bolt from.bolted rabbits with no nets can come later it can be productive dependant on terrrain and the lay out of th

A good crop JJ . -
Fair play for price to wanting the rematch come unstuck again. could try to rebuild and compete for domestic pos european level. he does have good power but his chin will let him down again. his confidence must be shot . would not be suprised to see him retire. as for the middles martin murray has gone the hard route in sturms back yard come away with a draw and martinez;s back yard a loss. both fights i thought he won. i would like to see a match between him and darren barker who when injury free i think is a good fighter.

Looking good terry ive just spent the last five hours weeding and cleaning the chickens out very hot day. picked the first cabbage, broccoli, turnip today. also took some strawberries and blue berries home. -
Some things kids didnt have late 60s onwards- tv remotes. mobiles-computers-microwaves-central heating-video games-satellite tv- bike helmets-bottled water-no child proof lids on anything mummy or daddy driving you to school etc etc.

ive had a look at Golovkin on youtube looks very impressive.Full respect to price for taking the rematch as his next fight. If he loses this where would he go from there. His career is on the line in this fight.
-
i was going to ask when price was on thought it was tonight Tomorrow night i think on box nation.

Martin Murray is from my home town. i would like to see him fight Barker plenty of respect between both fighters. Murray should have got the decision against Sturm and also in my opinion against Martinez.Had to do it on their home turf. Can be frustrating to watch at times i think sometimes he is too cautious and fights within himself. Not seen this Golovkin fella yet seems to be highly rated from what i have read. I fancy Price tomorrow. With Groves i have a hunch his chin wil let him down against the top guys just a opinion.

Very strong looking pup. look forward to reading of his progress. sounds like he is doing well training wise. Good luck.

Very talented. Something to treasure. You will look back at this in years to come with good memories.

I was a avid egg collector in my youth through the 70s. Had some nice sightings of birds in the following years a old pic of a capercallie when on a mooch in scotland many years ago.

Last thing for mites go in the coop in the dark and run your hands along and underneath the perches and all around the coop doorway etc, shine a torch on your hands if present you will see them if so treat with lice/mite powder. if it is the moult it is normal just up his protein levels by a small amount ie sun flower seeds., peas, cat food only in moderation. i have seen birds nearly bald during the moult. if you think it is just a habit thats been picked up by the bird. spray with a good anti-peck spray which will also deter the hens from pulling them out. keep fresh clean water available at

ive noticed them do this when they are starting to come into the moult. also loose feathers round the neck area when treading plenty of hens in some cases, moulting sometimes starts on the neck area usually aug time onwards but ive had it earlier. just keep a eye on him. if possible have a look at him night time when he is roosting for lice/mites under torch light especially the vent area etc to rule it out completly.
