  1. I can only say we'll done, I have had 3 rescue lurcher & a rescue working collie & they have all been exceptional dogs. I would have another tomorrow. Good luck with yours & I look forward to seeing her when she is in good health. I bet she will be one of the best dogs you have. Good luck.
  2. I would love to try a Springer Spaniel X Grew, finding one is a different matter.
  3. Bedlington or Collie X Greyhound or Grew(my choice). I don't think you can go wrong with either. What ever you choose, good luck.
  4. If you are ever lucky enough to find a litter let me know, would definitely be interested in a pup, preferably a bitch.
  5. I can't believe you still have these 2,cracking dogs. I was sorely tempted when you first put them up.
  6. Yep, exactly, I chose the red mearl bitch & I can't fault her. If it stands out to you go for it. ?
  7. I liked my pup at birth when Myersbg put the first photo up, I liked her in the following photos & when we went to see the pups she still stood out even though I wouldn't have been disappointed with any of the pups. She is now nearly 19 months & I can't fault her. So I would say go for the pup that you like & I am sure it will work out fine. All the best with your choice.
  8. I have just lost my bed/grey x Grew. He was a brilliant rabbit dog but no good on anything else. His skin would rip at the sight of a bramble. I now have a bitch with Collie, greyhound, deerhound & American staghound in her. So far so good. Good luck finding the stud dog you want & I look forward to seeing the resulting pups.
  9. I buried Ozzy my Bed/Gh x Grew last week at 14.5 years old. He is greatly missed. It is hard but keep your chin up at least we have great memories. Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
  10. I don't know the lines used but the dam was inported from Canada.
  11. Willow, 28ins,35kilo.Collie/GreyxAmerican Staghound Dam. X Collie/Greyx DH. Nearly 14 months old, can't fault her. Still very puppy ish.
  12. Good lick with the remaining pups to you & the bitch?
  13. I have the pup bottom of picture, on the right. She is 7 months old tomorrow, 28ins at the shoulder & 27 kilo. I collected her from Myersbg & couldn't ask for a better pup. American Stag/Collie Grey dam & DH/Collie Grey sire. I will try to pup up some photos when I can get her to stand still.
  14. Willow at 16 weeks, I can't fault her.
  15. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to upload photos to this site please.
  16. I have a collie/gh/Dh pup & I am delighted with her. 20 wks old this weekend. She is very collie like in her behaviour. So looking forward to years of fun.
  17. Been looking for one for years but no luck.
  18. Great looking pup. We all have to be a bit mad to be in this game?
  19. Lurcher to Lurcher, if the parents are doing what you want, you will have a good chance with the pups doing what you require. ?
  20. Sorry to hear that, she was a lovely looking bitch. Good luck with the pup I'll be interested to hear how you get on with her. I have an 11 week old pup here similar to yours but with collie from both parents as well as deerhound, grayhound & American stag hound. Good luck.
  21. I look forward to hearing how you get on as this is something I am keen to try in years to come. I would imagine a lurcher with gun dog or herding dog in its make-up would have the best chance. Good luck ?
  22. In our area we seem to have lost a lot of fox & badger in the last 6 months. I haven't seen a badger in 3 years & only the occasional fox. There has been a lot of shooting. The only pests that seem to be growing in numbers are mink. I hope to see more in the coming season.
