Books are there mainly for "entertainment". Whilst some have more fiction in than others, I wouldn't knock folk for writing them until Id tried putting one together myself.
You're right about the Huntaways being too noisy for most. Those Idaho shags look like some of the mongrelised farm dogs that can be found here in the uk. They make some handy dogs indeed
If you value your dog(s), Working dogs on pigs/boar is not the job for the faint hearted. No time for getting your phone out to film it. Get in and make sure you finish the job PDQ.
Much of the stock from Jeffs is quite handy from what I've seen. Certainly easy on the eye, if not the pocket. But breeding off a bitch thats only had one full season of work is hardly using proven stock IMO.
Like all crosses you get good and bad. What most bull whippets have in abundance is heart and drive. Not dogs for long slips for courses but the ones I've seen all excelled at mugging game and vermin of any kind.
This bitch is bred from some of those farm curs that some people have described. Hardy, sharp and mentally a step away from some of the collies mental down falls.
