    It amazes me how some folk are suprised how much their dogs crap when fed on kibbles that have maize as one of its main ingredients. Have they never seen the end result of having sweetcorn for tea?

    Don't go near one , your not making a strong agreement for getting a dog with what can be a bit brittle temperament wise , I often thought about getting another saluki type mutt but being honest with himself I'm just not going to make drastic changes to my hunting patterns at this stage in my life I must admit that if my next dog would likely be my last throw of the dice, a line bred coursing salukix would not be my first choice if I'd not had one before. But a good solid lurcher put to a coursing dog could be just the ticket to have one last blow out

    You should try everything in life at least twice. I took the plunge witha saluki hybrid last year. And its opened my eyes to their hunting ability. Just get one with a decent jacket, and keep the iron fist the velvet glove

I tried that stuff when it first came out. Did naff all for my speed or stamina! it would if you were shagging a vegetarian fitness instuctor

    Terrier and collie do seem to go well together in a lurcher. But with whippet on both sides, with collies and beddies being quite small, they may turn out on the small size to be good all rounders.

    So if as a known speedster, the greyhound needs to be tested in the field to see if its got the minerals so as not to loose out on the fire of the bull terrier. Ergo, does the fighting dog need to be tested on the track, so as not to loose the speed of the greyhound?

    I've heard they can be very easily be converted to submarines. Albeit not very good ones.
