  1. Ah, did wonder if that was possible, no problem with it being still.
  2. Nope straight up! Last time I went was about six years ago, I thought I'd stumbled onto the set of a war film. Why would people do that to go to a pest control trade show in a conference centre? The look on the reps faces explaining what a £1200 exodus was to a bunch of Jack booted , sas look a likes was classic.
  3. As above looking for a quality .22 Springer, such as sfs imp, theoben, tx, synthetic 97. My s410 has no issues as is silly accurate as it should be, comes with one mag and aa moddy. Wood in great condition, one area blueing a bit thin just in front of forend from resting on sticks. My gun worth around £350 Looking for f2f only, Cornwall or Devon, but possibly Dorset.
  4. Omg no! Wall to wall cammo clad wannabes ! 10/10 for cringe factor.
  5. Time to restart this thread maybe? A question I've been wondering about is sweetness, all cider left to ferment out will become dry yes? But you buy cider that is medium or sweet whatever, so these must have been back sweetened, but it's not mentioned on the label. I have planted a lot of Apple trees, bitter sweet, full sweet etc etc, but surely all will ferment out to dry? What are you experience with this please?
  6. Far too politically correct over here to sell fur, we used to get great money for Fox uni early eighties, then it died a death because of the antis.
  7. Well I'd better start advertising my pre anti tamper on here then as on bbs I've had to reduce it from £390 to £340 and still not a sniff, crazy as it's a walnut classic with no issues, maybe it's because Christmas is coming up?
  8. As the old saying goes " any fool can be a busy fool" Did 2 mahoosive ones this morning, one in a thatched roof and the other in a wood pile, fogging a college hall tonight for clusters, tidy little pay day for little effort, I was taking the day off today too.
  9. Oh yes, I certainly get paid to shoot rats! And I often think, really? I'm getting paid to do this?God this is a great job.
  10. Started five gallons last night, trying the French keeving method to get a lower abv and dry/med Also got a gallon of raspberry wine going like the clappers.
  11. Darcy your not far wrong on the live mole trap, but the all time winner has got to be the Nooski ! What a pile of shite that was.
  12. As above, Plymouth area and north Devon too.
  13. Neo gold is pants in my opinion! The mice down here live on it. I'm using mainly black pearl for mice at the mo.
  14. Only needed to mention it once "thank goodness" but I had a guy I did a wasp nest for, after I'd zapped it he said what if I said I can't pay now? I just smiled and said no worries, you will now be placed on the Cornwall pest controller black list as a non payer, and then if in a week ir so you have a lice, bed bug and flea infestation of biblical proportions, the only ones who'll come out will be a certain national who will take at least £250 off your card before they even put the phone down. To which he said I'm only joking, I said I'm not!
  15. Price drops! Wolverine £700 with mod, and no scope. S410 £700 all in
  16. Firstly the wolverine, it's .177, brand new Nov 13 from airguncentre, just had free service by daystate last week, it has a mk6 airstream moddy and a Hawke 4-16x50 ao scope, absolutely stunning unmarked stock. £780 for quick sale. Second up, completely mint .22 walnut s410 thumbhole classic, has a mamba illuminated scope on, but will sell without, the gun was zeroed then put away in the cabinet, not used since. £680 gun only or £770 with scope. F2F in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset or Dorset, Or rfd to rfd for twenty quid. Pictures by email, text or whatsapp. Cheers for looking, J
  17. Matty, I've been watching this with great interest, really interesting thanks. I've ordered one in .22 at£205 with the idea of trying to produce something like the performance of an imp but without paying £370 may I ask roughly what it cost you all in. Thanks again, Jamie.
  18. Your right, it's pretty good down here this year, I'm hoping to give myself a day off this week and get the deeks out on one of my south coast contracts, can't beat shooting them over deeks with an air rifle.
  19. Seconded, motion passed! . Forgot about romax, I just wish we didn't lose the dust, it sorted out some really bad farm jobs on the initial set ups, then backed up with the usuals.
  20. £7.50? What's that for? Must be for new customers.
  21. Been with santander for years, no charges, unlike when I used barclays and lloyds business banking.
  22. Rento are quoting one twenty plus vat down here.
