England Fell And Moorland Wtc Mid Lancs Show
morton replied to Rat face's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
How did it go today?,i had a choice of the show or watching the grandson playing Rugby League for Albion.Brilliant game. -
Id not work for somebody that asked.

Ok boy,but I am keeping dogs 35 years and have been round the block many times,so I have no interest in listening to your oul shite talk.keep your "advice" for the younger gullible lads. As i attempted to say and you clearly amplify its easy enough to own a busher and any nugget as the aptitude for at least one in 35 years, well done.
-
A mate had a lurcher and Spaniel stolen last week,we are on the Appleby route and its become something of a factor in dog thefts around this area, around this time, far to often to be less than coincidental.
-
Before even contemplating owning a bushing jukel it should be clearly understood that its far more difficult to restrict any dog from bushing than it is to own a useful bushing companion, any dog will bush and ratch about and plenty of them will do it to a decent enough standard.Terrain and intended quarry species should be the only consideration when searching for another kennel filler. If you wish to bush tight cover at pace go for a terrier based busher,if you intend to bush far more open countryside go for something that can cover vast areas better than the average terrier, source a Beagle o

Virtually none of us,yet if i bred a Coyote hound, hunted a Coyote hound, posted vids of the exploits of a Coyote hound id want to view a Coyote hound dealing with a Coyote. All i witnessed where 3 large powerful mutts getting bossed about and taking their time getting out of a reverse gear,it was shambolic, shameful and the Coyote deserved better.
-
Don't know much about this subject..but from what I've just seen on that video... I would have to say that those 3 dogs are Fekking useless. If Coyote was my quarry and those dogs were my team... I would buy a gun. . . I don't see anything I would call sport in that video. All I see is cruelty and suffering in a long drawn out torturous spectacle. Well, that wasn't the cleanest catch, to say the least. All that being said, some of the older males are not to easy to hold much less kill. From the looks of it, that was one of them. They are very tough and good fighters and it takes a

Hybrid vigour will often make up for what the initial parents lack,Beddy infused lurchers are testament to that. The fox terrier is a vocal type,as is the Whippet when pressed beyond its comfort zone.A combination of the two, plus hybrid vigour, should make for a more than useful bushing companion.

Brother/sister Cross- Your Thoughts!
morton replied to Kaizer Sozĕ's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
I bred a litter of lurchers, brother to sister and they panned out fine, ive just taken on 2 terrier pups bred brother to sister-Beddy/Fells and its the first time ive had a pup throw back to the fell,as the Fell in the mix is long lost to breeding now and the pups are bright, fit alert and active i look forward to seeing if this mongrel fell takes me back to his grandmother that was one of the most pleasing mutts ive had the pleasure to walk beside. -
By the time the average Bull x switches on the average dummy is often smarter.

She usually plays the race card,in this instance how can she state that they picked on her because she was a fecking retard, dumber than mud, ignorant and a chancer, she was hoping the press would bring her colour out to escape the fecking ridicule.

At least you never said Lakeys, good man. I remember going to a Maurice bell show in the early ,s,when it was still held at the mart. All the usual Lakey folk where in attendance that won every show in the country and urinated on every other terrier that dared to enter the ring, the age of Lakey dominance.A couple of narrow sided, leggy, blue topped lakeys beat everything in the show and the ribbon chasers decried this whilst weeping in their beer a little further down Hawes.Thats the last time ive witnessed proper Lakeys dominating their barrel chested, short coupled, low legged cousins that wen

I agree fully, defo better x's for fox work out there,if the sal's 1st x's got enough hardship i have no doubt a lot would fall by the wayside I remember a documentary on the tv a while ago and a little greyhound infusion into the Saluki,s and a Salugi?,their main prey was fox?.If any of these mutts reached these shores we may be better represented by the truth in the breeding and not the KC dross that we are accustomed to.

Moyes is the best thing that drove up the A1 since Hadrian. The majority of the side he inherited did not have the heart for the task in hand,Moyes wept blood to get that pile of shite to play for him.Look at his record at Preston, then Everton and even MUFC when he never got a fair shout. If he gets his team he will get back into the top flight and make them a middle team and thats 3 or 4 places above anything they have ever been before.

Do the maths first.

Whats with the clubs from the North East, the fan base, the stadiums the local talent etc.,as soon as one of the clubs goes up at least another goes down. The only way a club from that area will ever win anything is for somebody far smarter to build a 250,000 seater stadium, amalgamate the 3 top clubs and their supporters and they will dominate football for decades. If the london clubs, the Scouse clubs, the midland clubs did the same they could compete with the red and blue side of Manchester.

Its not to hard a task to breed a bushing companion, there are a vast multitude of bushing folk with differing jukels to testify to that fact. The only truth is that anything will bush and ratch about if given the opportunity, its the owners individual choice that will play any importance to their bushing mutt at heel.A Plummer/spaniel will certainly suit many as a bushing companion, the breedings there, its up to the owner to encourage the breeding.
-
Only one way to breed lurchers and if more folk bred the right way there would be so much less dross about.
-
Would the terriers that went the other way have played an influence in the European breeds?.

Preventing Poaching In The Uk
morton replied to CH-SUK's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
Any wild or released animal or bird belongs to no man,no matter how much land they own and the amount of folk they pay to cater for their needs. The facts are that 5% of the population own over 90% of our Isles because of the side they took around 1066.Its land that was earnt through theft and is brushed aside as history now and certain folk are still hell bent on regulating ancient statutes that were put in place to protect the b*****d landowner and punish the serf. The serf deserves the same access to our Land and the fauna it holds more than the b*****d landowner that hides behind ancient sta -
Looks nothing like an olde type Lakey, except some of the colour.Seriously if folk look at these type of pictures and imagine it represents the working lakeys that where evident less than 3 decades ago its a poor reflection on the lakey kennels now. Im a massive Lakey fan and don,t have much patience for any terrier that masquerades as anything other than a terrier, yet the mutt he depicted bore little resemblance to a olde type Lakey and thats a fact.If you quote old type depict old type and not another run of the mill working terrier that is bred towards a Lakey. If the lads mutts

Size Comparison Usa Vs. Europe...
morton replied to Dan McDonough's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
You should have a look at the Antelope Jacks they've got around Texas. I used to see them all of the time when I was in basic training for the USAF. One of these days I intend to get back down there and run the pants off of those things! They are enormous!! any sites id see them on Dan Mc?anyone adopt a 54 year old over there lol I don't know about anything long term but I've had the offer up for a while if someone wants to come over here they can live in the room above my garage while they get their feet on the ground. There's plenty of dog spots and with a little work on that r -
