I'd guess most of us on here are from working class families mate, so labour was the vote for most... unfortunately Blair happened and Labour were never labour again... the facts are labour and tories are all c**ts, last election there was no choice it was Tory or Corbyn, no brainer for me, now it's a throw away vote to make a point, hopefully 20m people at least throw their vote away,,,
-
The only vote I've cast that a truly believed in was the vote to leave the European Union, I respect peoples views/reasons why they chose to vote remain, but I'm sick of people trying to de rail the vote and blame anything that is wrong with the country on Brexit... if we were united politically and socially to see through the good that could come from the vote we would be a strong independent nation imo... but it has driven huge divides through the people and even within political parties there is no unity (let alone cross party). Surely at some point its a wipe your mouth and get on with it

There was always going to be some "pain" in the early years, I think everyone that voted to leave knew that but were prepared for it... what I didn't see coming was the absolute resistance and spoiling by both main parties, Boris for all his failings at least forced through the wish of the majority but its been a battle against our "own people" to move forwards...Covid stopped our economy for pretty much a year all told and thats why we are in the shit imo.. as Borr said, there is more work than anytime I can remember and at the best rates I can remember, but I'm sure this is the peak before a

Your probably right mate...I just don't enjoy drinking for drinking sake, for me it's always about the social...not saying g having 12 pints social on a Saturday night is better than 2 pints every night to relax..just not for me..
-
Drinking for me is a sociable thing, I like a good drink in good company, definitely a binge drinker, and struggle with the end of night off switch, if the music and craic is good I enjoy watching the sun come up! ?.. No way could I drink everyday, and have no interest in having a couple of pints each night, rather have a cuppa.. Each to their own though, I'm no one to judge for sure

I expect so mate, but I think the tidier you are at the start the good habits stay. If he takes on a small one with a few materials he is set to deal with it correctly, if he subs a bit of work out and skims off the top he has an easy to use system to deal with it. My sister in law does all our book keeping and we'd be lost without her, but I realise it's different when you employ a few lads, office etc... I need a tidier upper around me, so if there are easy to use systems in place happy days... I still get bollocked most months for going rogue and phone ordering something and not loggin

I'm the same mate, I love going to Cities, London, NY, Paris, Hong Kong etc... sit with a coffee and people watch, love the food choices, the constant movement etc,,,but would never want to live in one, we can be in London in 2 hours 15 from Exeter St Davids, do a weekend and its only 2 hours and 15 and I'm back in yokel land!! lol Love going but probably love coming home a bit more!

Keep receipts for everything you buy, it offsets your tax and can be very useful at end of year, there are some decent and easy to use accountancy apps, Xero is the one we use, you can photograph your reciepts and it instantly uploads, raise your invoices on it etc.. you would only need a very basic version and it aint a lot per month (around £15 I think) but keeps everything tidy.... I've been self employed since I was 19 and have always used an accountant, as said you don't have to but I think a decent one saves you more than they cost... Mine now is a wizard, I have no idea at times what he
