I'm exactly the same, most places we go we'll go in the church or cathedrals, I'm blown away by the architecture the commitment to building these amazing places thats built on pure faith.. I love the history of them... like you I dont practice religion and I don't think I have any faith as such, but find a real draw to churches, cathedrals etc.. We were in the sacre coeur in Paris many years ago and as we walked in the nuns were singing, the place is beautiful and with the singing my Mrs started crying, I've got to admit it was a strange/spiritual feeling... beautiful to be honest...

Bang on mate... its take it or leave it on my prices, I know our worth now, if you do a decent job you should be paid the right money. There's no other industry where you get f****d about for money like the building game, long payment terms are a thing of the past for me, been bit a couple of times, its almost like people dont see it as real money..

I think most on here would be exactly the same mate, no matter how macho some try to make out real dogmen or men that like their dogs are a bit lost when without one... on top of that you've had a nightmare time of it, hopefully the lost feeling will start to subside in time, but I fear you may have to get back on the horse (so to speak) and get yourself a pup, or a rescue... ?good luck and chin up mate
