Yeah you would, a few times I've gone mad when blokes have shot straight from a kick off, one touch wallop, miles wide and they look a twat, " the keeper was off his line" was the normal reply, yeah but you ain't Beckham lol.. It was a calculated risk from someone with Rooneys quality, he knew where the keeper was and knew if he hit the target it was a goal, that's where confidence must play a part . It was a foul anyway lol

Lol Wilf could be the glasses, not much to cheer this season !! Nothing aimed at anyone in paticular, you know how it tends to go with Rooney though, he scores from 50 odd yards and another tap in and he's still a waste of space, his record is incredible mate, but it's always focus on the negatives in this country. As for the goal itself, I don't think Rooney has blinding pace, to get the ball under and head for goal from the halfway line he takes the chance of being caught. I think he saw an opportunity, and like you said smacked it, then luck etc comes into play, it came off, I remembe

Personally not a massive fan of the Beatles and not a fan of Mcartney at all, But in a relatively short space of time they wrote a huge collection of songs ( over 200) which a lot are considered classics, There were 3 very good song writers in 1 band, and they're harmonies were great too ( the beach boys obviously kick ass on the harmony front). Yes there were other bands who've had a huge influence on the way music developed, but the Beatles are undoubtably one of them.. Also the introduction of George Martin, probably shaped they're sound with his excellent production, I rather the sto

Bad luck Ry, thought it was weird being in that much pain for so long, there's a few of my mates who've had it done now and most were back to work the next day... Ahhhh, Tarqs it's obvious now, the memory of that pain has put you off ever using your tool, so forever a virgin you'll be...... Lol

I've argued before about Rooney BB, but there's no point, As I said in a post a few weeks back, he should end up England and Man Utds top scorer ( easily) hes scored something like 210 UTD goals and 30 odd England goals at 28, maybe he'll be remembered more favourably than he's thought of now, who knows.

Got to agree with that Bob, what a strike, couldn't hit a volley any cleaner...

Watched the kings of Leon a couple of years back Bry, great band. Dolly brings back a few memories, right old mixed bag when we grew up... From Bruce Springsteen to willie nelson, then Irish songs.... I've heard a fair few pissed versions of the fields of anthenry... Lol

Funnily enough, I had the old man and mum round for tea last night, I showed him spotify on the computer, that was it We listened to Janis Joplin, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, The Bad Shephards, Pp Arnold, Willie Nelson... I couldn't get rid of him lol

That song reminds me of driving with my dad, he played that or willie nelson " 7 Spanish Angels", Or else good old dolly.... Love a bit of Dolly Parton...

To Strike it on the bounce, from that distance accurately is a skill in itself, most haven't got the speed of mind or confidence to try it... Then a bit if luck kicks in, the keeper got in a mess running backwards, didn't know where the ball was, and thenounce was kind... But for a fat useless f****r, it was a great goal to add to other couple of hundred fir UTD.. Becks was better though...

Just saw this on the news, Rip

I'll have a look what's out there mate, I won't have it all the same colour ( I'd be pissed off with that much over ordering lol), Does it matter what thickness? most common colour is light grey ( goosewing) so there might be a bit of that knocking about. Drop me a pm if you have to order some, I'll sort a good rate for you.

Good bloke becks IMO, always comes over well and seems to be as down to earth as you can be for a global superstar. May not win mastermind, but someone for the country to be proud of IMO. Has the sketch been on yet? Sat listening to music, but wouldn't mind a look at that.
