  2. I'm planning on starting with 2K and just go from there Fook 9K for one bottle... For now Thats more than i started with you,ll learn the basics as you go along....its sometimes worth keeping an eye on what the critics say....theres only 5 master tasters in England so any wine they give a good score to is going to increase value.....if you look at French wines you,ll find the 2005,s are most valuable as it was a virtually perfect crop, weather and everything............keep it under bond and there wont be no tax on it...........and i,ll be shocked if you cant make at least 15-20% profit..
  3. The oceans enough of a mystery to keep mankind occupied for the next few thousand years I reckon, isn't it right we know more about the moon than the deep oceans? Big Bang, atoms, single cell organisms, god,.... No f***ing idea like everyone else ( if they're honest)... I'll sit somewhere between Wilf and the seeker, and malt and born hunter..... In the land of constantly confused lol

    The Sea....

That's right bird/ ruby.. Out cockle picking... Used to collect cockles, winkles mussels etc a lot when we were kids, there's loads of it in the estuary, pretty safe there though, just walk back with the tide ... Huan, You'd have to be a right twat to put your kid at risk like that, no floatation jacket even... There's some idiots about when it comes to the sea. Every year some numpty and his kid float out to sea in a dinghy....lol
  11. I know the feeling of not buying what you set out to get... We went to buy a mattress once and came home with a springer pup lol

    The Sea....

I gained a massive amount of respect the day I got cut off by the incoming tide. Same beach, no one about, lost track of time walking for miles along this sandbar. Got to the end to realise I couldn't cross there as the water was too deep, looked back and the tide had come in in the gully between my sandbar and the beach cutting me off. Booted it back up the beach to where I thought it would be safer but it was too late leaving me stuck about 40 metres out. I had no option but to go through or to call the coastguard but i'd rather not lol in I went and it was f*****g freezing and up to my

    The Sea....

Ever since kids we were on the water, making rafts out if any old junk on the river, and always in the sea, My mum got us swimming just after we could walk, same with mine, the 2 little ones have swimming lessons on Tuesdays, and both can swim fine... We spend a lot of time on the coast so basic swimming is vital, but your so right you can never take the sea for granted, there's only ever one winner if you do...
  16. Nice one mate, glad your lad likes it.. My lad is right into all the outdoor things, there's a new climb centre near us and he's been doing that for a while nôw, I took him down Sunday morning, he's progressed onto the main walks now, learning the knots etc... When he was 30ft up looking down and smiling at me, my heart was ticking a bit lol.. Now he wants me to take him up Dartmoor to climb, no fear with kids is there lol,
  17. I agree socks, manners etc are taught at home anyway, but this will Instill more. On top of that, he goes camping, kayaking, making fires, coasteering... There's even a helicopter ride lined up for them... I'm a bit jealous tbh... Lol

    The Sea....

Love the sea, always been near it. I'm the same with holidays, I don't mind a weekend city break, but a holiday involves spending half my time in or on the edge of water..
  19. The lads finally 8 and a half, so he's old enough to join marine cadets ( 2 years he's been on about it), Intake was Monday, and he's just been marched out of the drill hall by his cousin, who's been made troop commander,... The locks have been chopped off as well, the missus was gutted lol
  20. A classic Dutch oven made my wife physically sick once, As I laid in bed listening to her wretch in the toilet, I had a little sadistic smile on my face lol

    Top Gear Burma

I went to the river Kwai and to the prisoner of war camp museum, then onto the cemetry, 15 or so years ago, it was very thought provoking to say the least. I don't agree that this program in any way mocked the hardship ghat those men went through mate, just my opinion though.
  22. I can honestly say your japs eye is not designed to have anything shoved down it,

    Project

One thing I do know, put a couple of goats on it and they will eat it all back to nothing... Our overgrown garden as kids had the goat treatment, f**k me can those things eat ... we then had to take them down the back woods and river banks on chains so they could keep eating, definitely a good start for stripping the vegetation back Jai, I like the sound of the kids outdoor centre, I reckon you'd make a few quid out of that mate.
