  1. Well I've never been camping with 10 blokes at night ..........
  2. Nice terrier . I'm not saying that ALL bull x's are the same, as they're obviously not. And I don't mean some of the really athletic type pit/staff x greyhounds either. Also some lurchers with a bit of bull in are cracking dogs. But I just don't see the point in them, just bull/grey. Although I will admit many of them look impressive. Just my opinion
  3. A lad I know has a 3rd gen half cross. 27" tts and although fairly racy looking, has the agility and coordination of a two year old toddler on a bouncy castle. And it's far from the only bull cross I've seen like it. Nope, not for me. Just making an observation, and giving my opinion
  4. My dad and his mate owned a cracking black sprint bitch of 23 1/2" in 1977-78. Did very well from 280 - 320 yards. Went unbeaten in her first six races, and was second in her seventh. She was pretty good off the track too. Edited to add, that she finished racing at just over 4 years old, before being run on any live quarry. C G, don't know if you're up on the pedigrees of some of the older greyhounds, but she was an Irish bred bitch, her racing name was 'cute charm'
  5. Can't believe I'm saying this ................ but I like that bitch! lol
  6. Is there whippet blood in that dog? bull collie greyhound 25" tts 9 year old in photo Wrong dog
  7. Is there whippet blood in that dog?
  8. I've been called an ABSOLUTE c**t on many occasions. That's a worse thing to be called than a messer, but pretty fitting
  9. I'd say bitches about 25-26, dogs about 28, average. there's obviously bigger or smaller, across the whole spectrum of distances that they specialise in too. Seen some pretty smallish distance dogs, and some monsters, same thing with sprinters.
  10. Judging by the replies to the o p, is there something not too good about bull x's then?
  11. Id try and salvage something from the mutts, its the nugget owners that want the dull thud of a shovel to wake them from their stupid stupor. Stupid stupor, you'll have the more stuperous members of this site in a quandary over such remarks! Lol
  12. I think half the useless mutts owned by people on this site need a good spading, judging by the comments of the 'problems' they have with them lol
  13. The bull comes from the dam then? Edited to add, that's not a dig mind, just remember pics of the dog a while back, and his breeding was collie/grey with a tiny amount of whippet?, so assumed the bull came from the dam's side. As others have said, both look nice dogs, should be a nice litter
  14. It's not a greyhound, it's a rough coated lurcher. And crap like that posted on f**k knows how many sites, forums or whatever, is why the ban WON'T be repealed. The internet, f***ing great eh?!
  15. coyote ain't it? 3 dogs will take longer than 1 on the kneck IMO, but again...I wouldn't base judgement on 3 unknown greyhounds on a coyote , we don't have them and what's 3 dogs? Could be the first they have ever seen, you just don't know for certain.Think that's why the Internet is quite bad, people know about dogs they have never seen , and make assumptions. It's a fox yer clown get yer glasses on Thought it was a fox myself, but the above comments about 1 dog killing quicker than 2 or 3 etc, are correct
  16. That is a good, sensible post. It's a pity that many others don't/won't see it that way.
  17. Nice vid that. Interesting how alot of salukis have that same loping run. But they say that salukis descend from asiatic wolves, so that would make sense I suppose, given that they are required to run in open country over distance. I have that sacred spirit track on CD 2 of my chillout moods collection, nice choice lol
  18. i understood it as, as soon as they started running cunning, holding back for other dog to turn the hare etc that they wasn't courses no more? Yes - because by doing that they weren't scoring points, therefore very unlikely to win a course.ye, so they can't be that daft after all lol.So fox bolter, that's why you don't see many killed on Waterloo cup, sure you would if they were out few times a week though. A greyhound that is, was , out a few times a week would be very useful. PRE BAN SINGLE HANDED
  19. Stick to bull x's me. Cracking alrounders, and better than greyhounds anyway
  20. Rabbits, hares, they all same to that dog, easy. Wanna buy it? It's for sale, no fault of its own?? If only you were closer
  21. Lol, my advice was obviously 'tongue in cheek.' As people have said, it's more a territory/boss sort of thing. And as blackmaggie suggested, casso or skycat would talk you through it willingly I would say
  22. Thing is the pup did absolutely nothing, i just popped him down in sleeping bit and she had a growl straight away.... And then continued in the house. Its totally out of character for this dog. She even lets other dogs come up and eat her food if they finish theres 1st. She just backs straight dowm... Very bizzare why shes suddenly being like this. Do as 'mushroom' off here would suggest, kick the c**t straight in the face next time she goes for the pup
  23. Excellent bit of film. Covered some key points, albeit briefly, of conservation, biodiversity of species, culling etc. If more education authorities were to make schemes like this more widely available, I think it would certainly give a bit more hope and encouragement to some youngsters, as to what could be achievable, instead of the hopeless, drug/alcohol fuelled apathy many find themselves in. Again, cracking bit of work . P S The brief comment was only due to it being an edited, short piece of filming, not a criticism. GOOD WORK
