..and he's supposed to be in charge of the country...?
Born Hunter replied to Malt's topic in General Talk
Did your parents have a whole host of trained protection officers to ensure that this sort of thing didn't happen? Besides, a person in his position should never ever have his guard down in public where his family is concerned IMO. If he does, he's very naieve.. Maybe Malt, I just think that sometimes 'we' are too hard on politicians about some things that are just part of being human when we should only be concerned with there actions as Britains Leaders. I know the real world doesn't work that way but to me incidents like the one reported aren't a big deal. I'm not jumping in suppor -

Personally, I don't think it's that bad....... I mean, my folks forgot me when I was that age, lol, and I've heard a few stories of other parents doing the same. I can understand it, two cars, a bit of confusion, mistakes are made...... especially in a comfortable social situation like that where your 'guard' is down. Now if he accidentally triggered the tridents while trying to text his missus then that might be a little too careless. -
got an old dog here that works as the man described, hes just as commited as any other lurcher as others on here will testify to The only bit that got me thinking was stopping on command. I assume by that wyeman means stop mid course? If not then I think many well trained lurchers would meet his standard. Mine sure as hell wouldn't though! LOL.

It'll be interesting to see how successfull such a dog is as a lurcher seeing as it is required to be so steady. How commited would such a 'lurcher' be?

Nice little story Whin. Certainly sounds like you are living a fulfilling hunting life.

Some people are just f****d up, not quite wired up right or something. Taking a knife to a new mutt because it pissed in the house! That's aparantly after hammering it! Aye, that sounds like the actions of a mentally stable human..... I certainly wouldn't feel any sorrow if the evil b*****d was to have his throat cut tomorrow but equally a suitable punishment for such an act is quite a debateable subject.....

I can't dissagree with that.

Who wants to eradicate seals? No one does, it's the same argument with any agricultural pest, it's about management surely? Just calm down a bit with your hatred of all man kind, lol. If you use the actions of a tiny minority to tar all of man kind then you are no better than all the animal rights activists. "Who wants to eradicate seals? No one does" Really? The evidence shown in those photos begs to differ. Some would like them gone. "If you use the actions of a tiny minority to tar all of man kind..." The actions of the few are already affecting the many. Only a few are

Time to Start with the Rabbit Cages.......!

What is the advantage in your case of using a cage trap over a body grip, Fenn or snare? How is your success rate affected? -

What a f*****g fanny of a game! My borther plays it, very well at that, so I've been round with him once or twice and it really doesn't appeal. The only good thing about it is the permission he sorts me (He's a course greenkeeper as well). It's a game of precision and etiquette...... I'm just not cut out for all that.

I did it about 12 years ago and have to agree with you derby lad there's no way you could do it if you're driving as well, you definatly need a driver so you can get some shut eye in between the climbs We had planned to share the driving between about 5-6 of us. It's not me organising it but I'll push them to get a dedicated driver.

f**k me, all this Lurcher talk will go down well with the stalking elite on here!

Just keep the dog generally fit. What's the need to muscle it up? Any extra bulk will just burden it, especially rabbiting. Hours spent in the field and training will be more productive than hours spent on muscle building.

I should think there are 'apps' that record your position constantly and so map out a your route travelled. That sort of stuff doesn't really interest me but I've got a mate that is forever showing me his fancy apps. Slightly off topic but on most smart phones you have to enable some gps setting which as a consiquence constantly makes a record of your location. I believe this has been used by the authorities in certain situations to prove a persons location at a certain time....

Inverted snobbery as far as I can see. Long live the Queen!

Interesting hearing about the pschological side of it all. I suppose it's when doing such mental/physical challenges that you learn a little bit more about yourself, some might even call it spiritual..... Hadrians Wall sounds like a cracking idea, although it would be a shame to make it too much of a challenge as you wouldn't allow yourself the time to stop and take in where you are. I would be forever scratching about the ruins & exploring wasting time and food untill i ran out! The 3 peaks challenge is Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike in 24 hours. Tbh I'm expecting the driving

Now that's a permission worth nurturing! Lovely photo's. I must make the effort to tae a camera out but it's difficult when I'm 99% out on my tod.

Well done Gnasher! I've been waiting to hear how you got on. It's quite an acomplishment in my opinion, not many folks would be keen to try it. What next? Or was it a one off? I'm supposed to be doing the 3 peaks in July. Would love to try something similar to your trek one day.

Bunch of fannys! Treat the pigs and dogs like shite! 20 dogs ripping a pig up, no sign of a humane kill, videoing the corpses of dead dogs...... FFS. Wonder how many of those pigs were eaten? lol

There are some really talented pole dancers about. It's no different from any other type of dancing as far as I'm concerned as all is intended to be sexually provocative, that's kinda the core reason for dancing..... If that's the thing that a girl likes then why is she a cheap whore or whatever? Of course I like watching it, I'm a lad and it's hot, but that doesn't take away how impressed I am by it. Very similar to watching a gymnast.
