Cheers mate, they appear every year at this time getting under the same slab but seems more this year. Not there all summer though but they drive the dog mad.

what is the key to a perfect poached egg.....I’ve tried and tried. At the moment the best I get is cracking them into a small tea strainer so the really runny watery white goes through. Use the freshest you can get etc but still I struggle !

Terrible ain’t it mate, I have a holiday cottage in the dales rented out every weekend over the next few months. Emailed all those booked in today telling them I’m shutting it until June at the earliest.......the less Folkes travelling around the better...
