Unbelievable, my place above Reeth still standing but some folk who were staying last night couldn’t get there. Bike cafe underwater and like you say bridge has gone from Leyburn to Reeth.........some real force of nature .....

Over for 3 weeks, travelling round a bit, plenty to see and do . It’s some airport is Dubai, always makes me smile when you have to catch a train to the departure gate..

Was out last week out of Hartlepool for the day mate. £40 for the day, took home 10 codling and a load of mackerel, got a bit lumpy towards the end and my mate was ill for the last few hours ...

Yes, you’re right GM, I guess they will be found mostly where their ‘hosts’ are found, like you say Reed warbler and then up at mine meadow pipits, great birds to see.

Was up at my bolt hole in the dales this afternoon...we always have cuckoo here, only a small ghyll but they come back every year...watched 3/4 different birds being followed by meadow pipits with some wheatear shifting around....proper upland niche birds.....
