Bit off topic, but I think a lot of the 'brave' mouthy women act brave because they are so certain a man would never hit a woman. Saw it recently now it's on freeview, I love it despite how badly staged it all is. They are some funny characters, might have a look on youtube because they have only played a few episodes and they keep repeating the same ones.

Just to make you feel even worse, when these fuckers go to prison they are going to be among friends. Blown a bit out of proportion really, but you can never underestimate the stupidity of the average person who might just see that and think 'actually, a puppy would be what he wants most'. Anything that doesn't stop more muppets buying dogs and breeding them is a bad thing imo.

That is true there are some good parks in cities, so I would be interested in what kind of questions were used to establish what they have defined as 'in touch with nature'. A completely fabricated park is scarcely that different to a managed countryside in a lot of ways, but it's like saying you are experienced with an African safari because you went to Longleats. Huskies are becoming the next status dog apparently, so you just need to combine your knowledge of the husky which was bred to run all day, with the knowledge that status dog owners are assholes and won't let a husky run all day. The end result is dog with too much energy and no stimulation, most likely badly trained and socialised being trotted about in public. If a human can noticed the tension in these dogs then it would be obvious to your own dogs, they could be reacting to the tension with a bit of apprehension because they are not quite right.

I don't think foxes pose any realistic threat to anyone either, I suppose that makes me a bellend too I think the mentality shown by the comments above are very damaging to the view people have on hunters, I can tell people I love nature which is true and that I think hunting is less cruel than farming etc But what's the point in trying to explain I don't hate animals when they can just log on to an open forum and get the impression we all do...I don't hate foxes, but I understand they need managing in certain circumstances, the same with all hunted species. I don't think you could even hint that they are in some way forced into that CHOICE. So why the f**k should I and every other taxpayer have to pay for other people's children? I can't understand why anyone thinks that is a fair system, the fact is that if you can't afford children then you shouldn't have them in the first place. It's just a part of life, I don't personally want children but I wouldn't mind a few more dogs, however I can't afford it and I wouldn't be able to twist the logic so much as to make it fair that others should pay my way for me. Just because someone has money it doesn't mean it is the right home for the dog though does it? If the only way you are filtering out buyers by is how much spare cash they have then you shouldn't be selling any living thing imo. All responsible breeders will either have homes lined up with people they know or will have a hundred questions and might want to see the home etc. I agree with Born Hunter on this, if you are breeding a litter it should be to continue the genetics of a good dog at cost price, or even a loss because raising a litter isn't cheap. What I used to do at work when we got endless calls is to initially sound like I am really interested, tell them I am just off to get my credit card and pop them on hold. So the reality would be I would lean the phone against a speaker and play the most offensive music I could find, usually a crude song by Steel Panther or something and place bets on who could get them to wait the longest. My advice is don't get angry, make it funny every time they call and you will start looking forward to the next one.
