I would love to have a tame stoat that retrieved to hand, I love seeing them chasing rabbits across a field and then dragging them off. It would be like having a ferret and lurcher combo, but it's not going to happen by crossing a ferret and a stoat is it? You will just end up with what amounts to a pain in the arse ferret that will probably bite like others have said, so what's the point. Anyway that link to them for sale has to be a con, the photos are nicked off Google and they aren't even described properly. No doubt they will sell ferrets to the gullible at £150 a go.

Seen quite a few, but I haven't lived here a year yet so not sure how many there would be normally. Quite a lot of honey bees around which is good, but I will keep an eye out for bumble bees now

This is the first reply I have had from you so I have never said you are forcing Islam down my throat, I am asking because I am interested in your answers but would be happy to pm if you want a chat, as I am thinking about reading the Koran and the Bible thoroughly to understand what the hell is going on in people's minds. Christian's cherry pick worse than Muslims in my opinion, that was my point, as most Christians don't believe in the literal creation story or Noah's ark etc but it is hard to find a Muslim who wouldn't take literally that Muhammad flew to heaven on a horse for example. In Iran our women all do national service they are milatary trained and allowed to fight on the front line to defend our country. My Aunties My wife her sisters my dauughters and all my female cousins are educated and work as Doctors, Engineers, Journalists, Teachers, Professional soldiers etc so how are they not educated if by educated you mean getting pregnant at 14 working in jobs that dont even pay minimum wage treated as objects as appears here then you have a lot to learn you dont know what life entails only what you read in books or see in documentaries incedently most news papers and m

desertbred, something I find annoying is how you flippantly dismiss notions of inequality to women in Iran and by doing so you insult these women. Iran does allow women to be educated, but they are restricted on what they can learn at university, they are restricted in number for other courses and they work in segregated conditions, which I doubt is for the women's benefit... I won't go in to any other detail about how the Koran represents women as you must know it, so why deny it? Also what do you think the Koran says about gays and Jews? This isn't personal, you sound a lot more reas

Crikey what a load of political bollocks, just summarise it as everyone has done wrong to everyone else and try to move on. Our history shows we have invaded 9/10 countries in the world, sometimes good is done and sometimes akin to the other atrocities every nation has committed. Or in other words, arguing the entire world history on a hunting forum is inane. Also if you had to choose the current nation that profits most from wars and crimes against humanity it is the USA, even the UK is the world's 6th largest arms dealer and for a tiny island that is quite impressive isn't it? So we and

Never mind paying for the badger vaccination tell the long haired prick that he can compensate the farmers for every cow that needs put down. We will soon see where his loyalties lie....f*****g arsehole off a man he really is...no grip on reality. Yeah but the point is, they are vaccinated...so no farmer problems? Also, I am genuinely asking why culling is better than a vaccination, when culling would only help 12-16% it seems a shitload of bother and causes a lot of political grief for farmers/hunters.
-
I am on the fence a bit, I don't mind a reduction in badgers because I don't think they are exactly scarce, the road sides are littered with them and there are setts all over the shop. But I don't think that the science supports that a cull is really worth the effort, the best figures that pro-cull supporters can come up with suggests that a 70-90% reduction would reduce bTB by 12-16%, which I am sorry but is f**k all really isn't it. A bit of control is fine, but this whole thing is too political and I have to agree with hutch that the backlash against the farming and hunting community ou

How much do you guess it costs per month for the best quality mince/bones per dog? Just out of interest as I need to buy mince for my dog but want another so need to calculate the costs...current dog is 23kg, next probably less or similar Thanks

I am not into game shooting so I haven't come across it, I was genuinely implying you might get more people doing it if everyone knew about it...I can train a dog to climb trees, although this service is a little high-end compared to sniffing a rabbit i'm afraid so not many people know of it either.

I'm not suggesting that any action can be or is taken against BOP's. However, look at a small shoot. Say they release 3500 birds ish. And they stick them in six pens, at about 600 birds a pen. The keeper feeds the pens twice a day. And picks up only two dead poults from each pen, on each feed, that have been killed by BOPs (and that's a conservative estimate). So over the first say six weeks, he will pick up over 1000 birds. Almost a third of what has been released, and something like £3500-£4000 worth of poults (not including the price of any feed they have consumed). So i

What's happened in the last 5 months mate?

wish I had £400 she looks a lovely bitch

True, except a rubber wristband could hardly fall off and he didn't work in the fresh food section. Morrisons have changed their mind now. Yeah that is fair enough, there are a lot of daft rules that make no sense that I can't be bothered with, it just seems this story was being twisted to suggest it had something to do with help for heroes which is obviously a hot topic at the minute. I would find it more annoying people using help for heroes to sell newspapers than for a bracelet being banned for food hygiene, even if the hygiene rule was daft.
-
Maybe not everyone knows it is available, as hopefully it's not just me and stinkers
-
But would you then complain if someone's crucifix or bracelet found it's way into your ham sandwich? Doesn't sound like it has anything to do with anything other than hygiene to me...they aren't allowed to wear anything else, they aren't picking on soldiers.

Could be a gos, either a wild bred or could be more likely one a flaconer lost as they are pretty shy. Accipiters are my favourite BOP to see, I miss watching a spar that used to catch sparrows/lbj's on our front lawn regularly. If Gos's became more common, would you lot be looking to wipe them out again to save your phessies then? It does seem to be the attitude that anything that cuts into pheasant shooting profits needs to be wiped out and I think that's a pretty sad situation really. I would love to see wild goshawks in the UK (might have seen one but now not so sure) but they would ki

Why not be a bin man? Good hours and good salary from what a mate of mine said, he was a private school educated toff and he did it for a couple of years and loved it, he said they got paid so much for over time he was making more than he ever has since. Or another mate of mine does alright at a cake factory being a 'supervisor', 4 days on and 4 off which isn't bad and he just stands around and has to eat a few cakes for quality control every day. This is a chap with no gcse's, sacked from every job and just dosses about getting high so it was like the lottery for him, he should be an insp

So you want a well paid job but not full time? Well I always get emails about self-employed delivery drivers with very high earnings promised, but I don't trust them so I don't know if anyone here could vouch for them. But something like that might tick a few boxes, you can plan your own hours to suit you and maybe there would be a hired version that provides a van etc for you?
-
just an attention seeking troll, stop drawing attention to the sad prick that's exactly what they want

do a search on a comparison site, different types of cover cost differently i.e. lifetime is more expensive but they will pay for an illness every year, others are time-dependant so a condition will count as pre-existing and not be covered at the end of the policy. Should be around £10/month depending on breed etc but just accidental only can be £5. Not sure about direct line but 'animal friends' looks the cheapest when i did a comparison search

Something I mentioned on the locked thread is that we are all mongrels and a blend of cultures and personally I think we have turned out pretty well. For example in history England has been conquered by the Celts, Romans, Anglos, Saxons, Jutes, Danes, Norse and the Normans raping and breeding along the way so our ancestry is a EU blend, French, German Scandinavian etc. So blood counts for nothing, you can't label someone for their skin colour and all those shouting about what wars people fought in shouldn't forget about how many Indians and other nationalities died in the same wars side by

Surely that has to be fake, the bit down the hole was too much

What the fook is a rabbit pen? I feel daft asking this but I have never heard of people paying to go in with a pen of rabbits, can someone enlighten me? Found out of Google, not sure how I have never heard of it but it still sounds weird to me to keep wild rabbits in an enclosed space to train dogs with, I didn't know that was legal but you learn something new all the time I suppose.
