I want to know why they were boxing him in too, if they were just being dicks on the road then they deserved to get thrown off their bikes and I would have done the same. But paralysed for life? I wouldn't do that by intention and if you saw a mate get that badly hurt you might be forgiven for giving the guy who did it a kicking, even if your mate was initially in the wrong.

I have never heard anything like that, do you mean those are the rules if keeping stock is the reason for staying on the land? Or can you not even keep chickens in your back garden and sell a few eggs to neighbours without the paperwork in Ireland? Sounds funny when you can buy big cats without a license over there (unless that changed in the last few years?)

Not with a good wood burner in it does not, I used to be sat in me boxers and t shirt, and it was minus 6 outside, and I am not joking a good wood burning stove is all you need to keep you warm as toast. I had one on the canal boat I stayed on and I will definitely make sure to have one in the static when the time comes. Once it had been going for an hour or so I would have to open the door to let some cool air in, in a crappy old boat with loose single glazing so I am not worried in the slightest, you can get good quality statics now too that are just bungalows as far as I can tell.

I wish they would stop taking the photos at stupid angles to exaggerate the size, it does look a big bugger either way but it would just be nice to have a proper comparison, not held at arms length. I wonder how much of the size is dependent on genetics and how much by diet I would imagine most mutations wouldn't last too long, they couldn't fit in the same sized tunnels or hide as well for one thing.

I heard her responses to the questioning on the radio and she seems to be denying doing anything wrong. Don't think there is any chance of her being free for long, if she did then I am sure she would end up having a nasty accident before long so justice will be done.

Cheers for the replies. I am serious about this but it isn't something I can do for a while yet (due to being broke as a joke), I have made the biggest step so far and convinced the mrs though . The reason for doing this is that I couldn't care less about having a nice house it is the land I want and I can't afford both. It would kill me to get a mortgage for a small terraced house with a tiny garden when I could buy 6 acres and a static for half as much and do everything I want. The plan is to buy as much land as possible that would be about 2/3 woodland and then leave some other open lan

Can't really beat terriers and a smoker if at all possible, or setup a dull light where you want to shoot and leave it on for a week. Then just setup a comfy place to sit for a few hours and pick them off with the air rifle, I would use what they are used to eating as bait if it makes sense (i.e. not a small pile of grain right next to a mountain of it, but use grain a few hundred metres away).

If you decided to buy a few acres, what would you need to do to be able to live on it 365 days a year? I have researched a tiny bit and on one hand people say a temporary/mobile building doesn't need planning permission but that for some reason you can only spend a few weeks there a year. If I am keeping livestock then that can be reason enough to stay longer, but without getting too complex what would someone realistically have to do in order to stay in a static caravan in a field?

Waiting for a woman to finish paying for her petrol, when they finally make it back to the car the real pain begins as they have to go through their bags AGAIN and make sure their makeup hasn't changed in the last hour while they were trying to remember what you do at the cashier. I would like to buy some good quality japanese whetstones without paying for a brand or generally getting overcharged. Can anyone recommend a good company to buy good quality stones? They aren't doing it because they want glow in the dark animals This is old technology now and they chose the glow in the dark genes because it's visually easy to see working. You can buy glow in the dark fish at pet shops now, well for quite a few years now actually

I love classical music but I am not often in the right mood to listen to it for a long length of time, it's hard not to love Bach and the other legends like Beethoven or Mozart. I usually listen to metal but it is surprising how many listen to both whilst hating other 'normal' music.

Exactly, mate! It's a trait I've noticed, in Bull Breeds, down the years. Their hairs seem to be more like hedgehogs spines. More widely spaced on their skin and no undercoat. Rain drops just pass right between the hairs and hit the skin. One of my old Pit Bull's would face the fires of hell, if they wound him up. Yet, shower of rain, while walking him? He'd try to drag me through the nearest door! Bless him! Pest has a similar placement of hairs on her body. Much softer though. Either way, I refuse to leave such a Dog in the rain. I had my time wasted another couple of times trying to sell this, meaning over half a dozen people saying they will pay on X day by paypal didn't, then went quiet. So I gave up, but now I could do with the money again. So £65.00 inc P&P and it's yours if you pay via paypal by Friday!
