    After a bit of bad luck out in the field with my lurcher bitch at the start of last season ! It was time to move on to the next working hound.Never a nice thing to see a young dog leave the hunting game early ! But a dangerous sport is always gonna have its injuries ! So off I set Friday to get this little beauty ! Fair play one of the healthiest litters I've seen ! credit to socks off this site . Tho he is charging more than the great d Hancock I think she was worth every penny !

    Selling to people you don't know I think should be 150 to 200 ! And hope they get good homes ! Always different with friends and money tho! How you ain't sold all this litter so early on I don't know ? But still early doors to worry about !!

    Ye gotta look at there characters ! I like the bitch marked like the sire but the whole litters has interesting markings and colours ! But looks don't bother me the working side of it is the important and enjoyable bit they should make good rabbiting hounds !

    Sure it would make a handy ferreting dog and daytime ! I have a collie whippet greyhound and she lacks in that top gear but still done ok on rabbits on the lamp ! But I'm sure you could breed a fast type but thats the joys of genetics .

    I ment pure bred dogs more for future breeding and improve it as a hunting hound? Would they lack in a yard or two of pace ?

    Can't beat a lurcher working with the nets you can't help to feel a spaniel would be more ideal on that type of ground .

    A bitch I have was a good honest worker only had one full season out of her but caught a few rabbits on the lamp and loves hunting up in the day for a bunny or two ! Think the whippet does add that bit of flare in a dog and seem to have a good drive ! But she did lack a yard or two of pace and not the best for a good cold night.

    When you see the idiot posting videos online it's easy to see why it gets bad press ! A lot of the so called hunting sites you see on social media are embarrassing! A dog hunting its prey is what we wanna see but idiots in every form of life !!
