    Ha had a 5/8th collie 3/8 th greyhound nice dog very intelligent didn't lack to much in speed and a very agile dog ideal ferreting and a bit of a lamping dog good all round rabbiter .

    Pup looks lovely have you taken the dog ferreting?i found it helped with the dog being comfortable with you with live game I.e holding in the purse nets and giving the rabbits up on command as been sed other dogs can spoil a dogs retrieving good luck next season.

    i agree with her on that one,working whippets are the dogs that run our grounds and you don't see many working greyhounds my choice would be a dog that's perents and grandparents have done the graft you wanted your new pup to do when the time comes.

    I've seen my own bitch pick plenty I think it's being to intelligent and lack of drive ,she won't hurt herself to get a rabbit I think it's the kind of " living for tomorrow attitude " some places I think we'll done thank god she didn't run that then other times it can be so frustrating to think some effort she would of had it.

    The problem comes from the greyhound side and being a half cross back to a pure greyhound and non working perents not had there feet tested!
