I looked out of my bedroom window twice yesterday. Not one kid out on a bike or skates or anything just stuck indoors
watching rubbish on the telly etc.
Well i had a result this week. I bought an Air Arms S410 .177, scope, slip and 3 ltr bottle for £430 off my mate.
He's had it a while but put no more than a 100 pellets through it. Cond 99/100. Should keep me happy for a while.
I've had my CZ 452 16 years and i would not part with it. I tweaked the trigger because it was a bit heavy .
I also renewed the extractor claws and bolt spring because the spent cases were not ejecting but it turned
out it was the fault of the winnie subs i was using not the bolt.
I have also just bought a new CZ 457 and also tweaked the trigger. Very good guns for the money.
But i have never shot any other .22 rifles.
I enquired about Daystate on another forum and was told don't touch them.
Apparently back up service is terrible So for me it would be the HW 100 or Air Arms S510.
I'm lucky. I sneaked home from work one morning and saw my foreman humping my old woman.
Good job he never saw me as i would of got the sack for being off the job.?
I'm out every day with my dog. Clay shooting every Sunday. Rabbit and Squirrel shooting at least twice a week.
And if i want something i will buy it. Not for me stuck in front of the telly watching rubbish although i do watch a bit of youtube.
I go out for a meal with my lady friend once a fortnight. I'm either round someones house or someone is round mine.
The only thing i don't do is drink or smoke. I'm an old boy now so enjoy life as much as i can while i can.
A chap near me had his house burnt down in the heatwave a month or so back. He lost everything including 2 hives of bees.
Someone said there were about 140.000 bees but i can't be certain about that.
Finding the trigger pull a bit heavy on my 457 so i adjusted it as seen on Youtube but it made no difference as it didn't when another
chap on there done it too. My one has not got a normal trigger spring but one shaped like a spring shaped paper clip.
It's not worth putting another trigger unit on the rifle so i don't know what's next. Any ideas chaps ?.
My 452 is about 1/2 lb pull and the 457 is about 2 1/2 lb.
