  2. FFS, Gary, be very careful. If you wing one of them flies and it turns nasty you've got a real problem!! Hope it gets sorted OK
  3. I've not really got anything from my past other than photos and such like of my boys. I'm not sentimental at all. I've no pictures or anything at all from the ex wife or old girlfriends, I gave it all back to them when things turned to shit, I don't need reminding about stuff that went tits up. My mum died when I was 24 and I've nothing at all to connect me to her, but that's a long story and not a good one. When my Dad passes I will keep everything and anything that's to do with him and me, he's my best friend and the only person I've ever been close to who's never let me down.
  4. The last time I had a run in with the law, the bobby just asked me 'did I need a licence for that gun?' I said no and that was that. They're not all like that though......
  5. hi Andy most air rifles are able to shoot over limit,so we are all guilty as charged! Who have you been talking to????
  6. It's the buyer's responsibility to make sure it stays legal, Craig. For example, anyone with a large, mainly German springer can go online or into a gun shop and order an export spec spring with no questions asked.
  7. Funny you should ask that, I've just watched a film called The Children Of Men and there's a scene near the end where a crying baby is carried out of a war zone and all the fighting stops and the soldiers look in awe at the baby and it's mother passing by. Good film but not exactly a feel good film....
  8. It may well be, Tony, and I'm not going to say the lad is lying but the pic I'm looking at on a 42 inch screen looks very much like Bugs is well and truly busted open. Congrats on your first bunny, Nade
  9. The dear was really one of Jannet Street Porter's friends in disguise
  10. Look at it's mid-section..... And where's it's lower jaw? Could be a funny camera angle
  11. It's not illegal to buy or sell that kind of thing, it's only illegal if you're cought with a gun that's able to shoot over the limit if you don't have an FAC. It's a loophole in the law, if it wasn't OX amongst others would've been closed down years ago.
  12. I never realised you could fire an HMR round through a Prosport
  13. Rabbits can be electric, or so I'm told by some of my female freinds. I wonder what they mean..... And how do vegan lesbians cope with clam jousting?? Feckin' Cider
  14. Andy one of the oldest books in the Bible maybe the oldest is the book of Job. The Book of Job talks about the Devil. There are hundred's of greek manuscropts. The dead sea scrools had some of the books of the old testament from begining to end. One thing that the Bible says about the Devil is that he walked among the firey stones. He was in Heaven, he saw God and still rebelled against God. He was created with more power and more gifts than any other Angel but he still fell. Even the other angels had to decide who they would follow, one third of them decided to follow the devil. The o
  15. Hi, Chris. From what you've listed you should be getting around the 18-20ft-lbs mark in .22 or around 16 in .177. That's a nice level for them to shoot at as they were made mainly for markets with a higher power limit than we've got in the UK. Don't try to get any more unless you really know what you're doing. It's very easy to turn a nice shooting springer into a total dog and for the sake of a couple of extra ft-lbs, it ain't worth it Cheers.

  17. It's a bit of a double edged sword buying a rifle for a young one. PCPs can be very light and easy to handle (as above) but they don't always make teaching correct shooting techinques very easy. He'll have no understanding of recoil for a start which could make him gun-shy if he ever moves to shotguns or CF rifles. Also basic things such as follow through and correct trigger use can be disguised by the easy nature of pre-charged guns. I'd go for an HW50 if you can find one or even ( I hate to say ) one of the BSA Meteors. Springers are harder to master but once he has, He'll be a much
  18. Don't bother with the 98 unless you're an odd shape and need the adjustable stock. It's nothing more that an expensive 95 in a party frock. Welcome to the forum
