  1. Townsend started that shit, smashing guitars, swinging his arms in a circle, because he couldnt play them too well. Any of you lot ever heard of Rheinhardt or Paul ? Jesus Christ!
  2. Possibly the most overated guitarist of all time .To put him in perspective he could not carry Glen Cambell's guitar, and he is known primarily as a singer. I listen to guitarists on Sunday mornings who are playing for £70/80 a session that are better than Hendrix .
  3. Think you might find this is rather common now, especially in England
  4. No doubt he will get to the bottom of it.
  5. Either way il eat my hat if it goes to a points desision. I'd agree keepdiggin but even the best can get beat, I'm not bothered who wins either way , but it will be a good watch. Points decision is most likely imo. Mayweather, if he retains the form he had against Guerro should know too much for the youngster, but he is getting on and the wheels could be due to fall off anytime.
  6. This pre-supposes that one is in, or near their own area where they know the vet and his phone number. Six years ago I had to carry a dog off a fen in LIncs, I live in Kent, so a basic knowledge is very useful in such circumstances, together with the necessary materials to apply it... I carry a first aid kit for dogs in my car at all times, why would you not?
  7. Mine eat them raw several times a week, perfectly ok.
  8. Very true Phil , but it don't half chuck up!
  9. Nice strong dog that struggled in unfavourable conditions,I would be wary of running such a quick animal in woods like where the first bunny ran, sooner or later a collision is likely and the dog usually comes second.. I've found that long hedges invariably induce the rabbits to bolt along and go down again," hole hopping" we call it getting more and more resistant to bolting as they then know what awaits them on top. A stop net that bisects the hedge prevents them from travelling along the hedge often forcing them out into the open field and gives a chance for the dog and some sport
  10. Par for the course you're right and everyone else is ignorant, and wrong.I'm actually annoyed with myself for engaging with more than being patronised by you . By coincidence I was cutting the hedge of a friend yesterday he has nutrition shops and gives lectures on the subject, he also has a Phd in his field,.he told me to steer clear of Maize. But what does he know compared to you? As I type this, I can look to my left at the trophies my dogs have won in the field, where the proof of the pudding is in the results. But no worries, I won't bother to post again. Sorry I don't writ
  11. My dogs dont get lotions or potions they get bones, and meat with fish and eggs thrown in as required. Do you notthink if the Arabs had access to lush grazing and therefore a ready supply of meat they would not give it to their dogs? Ferrets will survive on bread and milk is it a desirable diet for them? I don't care if you feed your dogs on pig shit , I was just making a point that although meat bones and so on are desirable they are not a absolute necessity The lotions and potions you mentioned are far more likely to be found in extruded dog kibble than in meat and bones

  15. I don't put myself forward as any kind of knowledgeable person on dog nutrition, but there are tons of reports on maize and its undesirability as a source of food for canines. Not just the one site I posted. If I beleive you they must necessarily all be wrong. http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-food-industry-exposed/dog-food-corn/ http://www.whichdogfood.co.uk/dog-food-ingredients/0015/maize-corn http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/care/corndogfood.htm http://www.landofholisticpets.co.uk/Corn_in_dog_food.html No doubt you will scoff at these sites, but then I've found you have a tend
  16. LOL, well which do you have a problem with and why? Don't go for the tired old allergy, can't digest, natural diet rubbish, lets stick to reallity rather than made up stuff eh Ps, They do a variety of feeds I use duck and rice. Though some of the fears about maize may be overstated, I've never read anything positive about it as a suitable ingredient for dog food . The analysis below unfortunately does not include Skinners , but their comments about maize in similar products would certainly prompt me to steer clear of it. http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog-food-index-a.h
  17. dead on pal work away another anti what do you mean by this? Basically what he is suggesting is that you're a bunny hugging opponent of everything we hold dear...and that you have come on here with infiltration in mind...you're intention is to solicit confessions of the most awful crimes against wildlife...admissions of dog fighting as well as penetrative sex with badgers...and oral sex with otters......and then to use them against us in an attempt to secure spurious convictions... Personally I don't believe it.... I reckon by your post sheep are your thing....
  18. Really sorry to hear this Mac is a friend and a true gent, hope this has a positive ending for him,and all those who know the dog will be on the lookout.
  19. I just imagining the damage to the car if it had hit you. Seriously, that's the best excuse to get bladdered I've heard. Glad you're alright mate. We truly don't know what's waiting for us around the corner.
  20. Sorry to hear this, its the right way to go ,all you can do is make his last days as comfortable as possible.
  21. Quality win for him I thought Geale would beat him , but glad to be wrong.Maybe a return with Martinez?
  22. It's an excellent book for those who work their dogs. Packed with hands on tips ,what makes it particularly invaluable , is that is entirely designed by some one who not only works their dogs , but is written expressly for those who do the same. Couched in simple ,down to earth language that covers just about every situation a working dog owner is likely to encounter Penny's success in coursing competitions in a Fens club pre- ban illustrated to those of us who saw her dogs run that she not only knew what she was doing , but was able to consistantly get the best out of her dogs
  23. I used to go out with a greyhound club onRomney , they rarely caught. Its hot down there now I'm told.
