    stroller, if you get the FT sitting position right it can be just as accurate as off a pod and you can still use other positions without your zero changing unlike the bipod where if you zero it off the bipod you have to shoot off thye bipod everytime.

    nice shooting phantom and nice autopsy as well. you'll often find woodys with huge crops full of seed but because of the sunflower seeds i think this is probably a woody which has been feeding on birdseed.i learnt after a while that when you pick woodys up dont grab them by the tail feathers as they come out really easy. p.s how did you get your permission at the graveyard as i have sen a graveyard with diggings everywhere but i'm not sure wether they would want shooting there.

    well he got what was coming to him. but theres a bit of a difference between big game hunting out of season and with no licence or permit and snaring a couple of rabbits for the pot on disused land that they dont have permission on. thats what British poachers are talking about.

    sounds like a nice gun mate. if it has a shrouded barrel it may be the hw100 FSB which is the new version with a fully shrouded barrel.

    nice site phantom but it came a little too late for me. had a woody in my sites yesterday and overestimated the holdover. it went down but i had to run up and neck it. never a nice thing to have to do . if only i had a shooting ground near me where i could practice inclined shots as there are'nt trees in my garden that are climable

    im 14 and i did buy my airgun out of my own money....so does that mean i have commited an offence my dad has no intrest at all so i do own my airgun and he says he dose not want gun oil and lens cleaning equipment around the house so it all stays, including my rifle, in my house.

    nice shooting mate! bloody hell 32x is a big mag, double my highest mag lol! what do you usually keep it on as surely 32 is too zoomed in for hunting?

    i have had to dispatch 2 magpie chicks which i found on the floor they were half dead and had ants already eating them :sick: so i gave them a pellet through the head.

    i know exactly what you mean about the joys of spring. when your sitting still in camo for long periods of time its amazing how close things get to you. a blackbird with a beak full of brandlings, SITTING ON MY BARREL!!! a beauitful jay hopping around no more than 5 yrds away from me, i really do love these birds and they do more good than damage.

    great shooting tony! biggest bag ever? were they pretty tame as i know a few places (not permissions) where you can practically pick up the things, whereas on my permission you walk into a field and every single one scarpers.

    for close stuff after speaking to none other than terry doe i use biz mags as you can afford to hit rats in the chest and side with them because of their heavy weight. but air arms diabolo field rule for long range shooting, 8.44 grain being perfect.

    well done tony! congrats on your first pigeon. i like to pan fry them with a little olive oil for a couple of minutes so there still pink and bloody in the middle then serve them with salad. you dont want to add to many things to pigeon as you'll want to keep the wonderfull taste of the pigoen.

    Nice shot si! i was going to do some magpie bashing yesterday but my mum was gardening so there wasnt much point really. although i did find a magpie chick on the floor which was half dead and had ants all over it so i did the decent thing and gave it a pellet through the brain.
