Doesnt surprise me in the slightest......infact anyone who knows arm wrestling wouldnt be surprised........technique beats power,experience beats youth. If anyones interested look up people like Allen Fisher,Richard Lupkes,Dave Randall......all in their 60,s and still at the top of their game.

I remember when i was about 17/18 getting caught having the roll about with a married woman in her late 30,s her and the husband owned a wine bar in Essex he thought he was a Mr big of the day......i looked up with a soppy grin on my face and said " alright mate "........not knowing if he was going to stab or shoot me he simply said " for f**k sake are you sure.....i have to but you ? ".........i got straight out of there but was totally confused as she was a good sort and it took me a few hours to realise it was his way of humiliating her !....lucky escape all things considered and it was one

lol so is my son middle name (SEVLOW) Ive got a few of your lot coming down at the wknd....rekindle some old rivalries yep the old north bank lads lol , who are in the south bank now did you like Bully gnash .? Cracking player,underrated.....would of had a lot more England caps if he had played for a big club A couple of Wolves lads i know took me to a game a few years ago and the bar suddenly erupted in cheers when he strolled in.....fair play to him he sits amongst the regulars most home games.

Right ok fair enough i didnt know that. Gotcha thanks for explaining it Bob.......would his other pick not of been the lad Smith i dont think he,s been in it before. Im the same its probably similar to how full on football fans will readily watch lower league football or full on boxing fans will watch small hall fights but folk with just a passing interest will only watch the very top level ........ im not a massive darts fan so would only watch the PDC but im sure hardcore fans would watch local league games in the pub as well as the major tournaments .....makes sense i suppose

Thanks anyway mate but already got it knocking about here somewhere.....whenever people i know are stuck on what to get me for birthday/xmas its usually a safe bet something to do with Bobby Moore will go down well Send it up to Trigger he is more infatuated with West Ham than anyone and at least it will give him a big name player to read about.

Just a bit of recognition for a good deed done and a favour i now owe.....i recently sent a lad close to me over to Fireman as he,s just getting into Finches.......he was given a lovely pair of Greenfinches and an afternoon of collecting information.... Fireman wouldnt take a penny and equally as important offered future help and advice to a newcomer and so a lad i care for a great deal came away extremely happy and eager to smash into his new hobby.......for that i am very grateful

Dare how old are you ?.......aint you got any desire to get on your toes and do your own thing ?.....maybe its me but as a youngster i couldnt wait to f**k off from the family home who needs all that emotional shit and responsiblity stuff when theres fanny to be had why aint you and your pals out doing all the mad things young men do id be inclined to let your sister find her own way and your mum do her own parenting........but then my sister hates my guts so who am i to say anything

I love my meat but ive never been able to get along with all this having different meats on the same plate.......not on a roast anyway......if i have a Beef roast i want it to taste Beefy.....or Lamb = Lamby......Pork = Porky etc.......scars of life i suppose .......as for having cold meat on the same plate as hot meat all covered in gravy thats just wrong .....we all have our own funny little quirks i suppose.

I dont drink as a rule so dont usually do much new years eve but will probably be our last where we are so had a house full last night....renewed a few old friendships and buried the hatchet with a few folk which is always nice and a great time was had by all......topped off with a few hours with the grandson by my side today bodes well for a peaceful if somewhat busy year ahead.......all the best for the new year folks

Never knew the man but always sad to hear when folk are taken too early.......sounded like a good man and my thoughts go out to those who knew him.
