Fury is a distance fighter Mick......he relies on staying out of trouble and using his reach so being able to go the rounds is far more essential to his game plan than it is to a fighter like Joshua,s .......accurate power punchers and ko artists dont want to go rounds the same as distance fighters dont want a tear up......yes in an ideal world we would like to think a fighter has it in his locker to get up off the canvas........but whether he can or cant wont make much difference to a fighter who is putting all his eggs in one basket to knock you out.......its not like it used to be when all

I suppose so......more than that though sport has to have " an event " surely ?......bodybuilding doesnt have a match/game/fight/race whatever it might be......maybe im talking bollocks i dont know i just consider bodybuilding a lifestyle/hobby rather than a sport.

Taking shots is something fans feel a need to see trainers dont want to see their fighters take shots,ever.....Mick if upon taking shots you dont like what you see do you think it will stop him winning a world title ?......i remember watching Fury get levelled by a much smaller guy it didnt stop him using the assets he does have to win a world title.......power punchers like Joshua or Tyson in his day do not set out to have long fights they are putting all their eggs in one basket to get their opponent out,hence why much of heavyweight boxing is about who lands first.

Id book darts as a sport yes,and greyhound racing.........both contain excitement,skill,prowess etc......bodybuilding requires none of that.....like i say even the weakest most narrow shouldered little gimp in the world can be a bodybuilder if he applies himself correctly ( you ask Socks )....coursing for me has been adapted to be a sport but no i wouldnt say its as pure as greyhound racing and as you can probably tell im a purist !....besides which,from a spectators point of view bodybuilding is not even watchable as the moment of imminent drama is non existent........whats your thoughts ?

Good point gnash. My missus has had a driving licence for 20 years and I still won't let her drive on a motorway. Even being in the car while she is joining a dual carriageway is a scary experience. She hardly drives these days. For her own safety and the safety of others. It's not for everyone. Its not too dissimilar to the gun licence.....some people are not suited and cant get one full stop.......whats the saying...guns dont kill.....people do.......well cars dont kill.....people do.....yet if you drive ok for 30 minutes you can have a licence for the rest of your life !

Tyson always struggled with tall fighters i think Fury would have given him absolute nightmares......im not saying Fury would of beaten him on skills/ability but he would of probably frustrated Tyson into doing something stupid...................again,another example of the sheer stupidity of the weight division. was Tyson a natural heavyweight gnash ? I know he was 5ft 11 in 15-16st ,haye 6ft 3 norm 15st He was about average for the day if i remember right Bird.....probably a bit shorter than most but weightwise i think he gave Bonecrusher/Bruno/Douglas etc 10 - 12 poun

Cushty would you not like to see Haye regain a world title ?.......would you not like to see Joshua one day win a world title ? Odd as i think it is for any man to idolise another man but even though you like Fury as much as you do would you not as an Englishman like to see English fighters be succesful ?.......im not having a pop at you i genuinely dont understand the lack of patriotism we show our sportsmen as a nation. In all fairnous I wish both aj and Haye the best in thier careers and For David's case carrer comeback but Haye is only chasing money as I think he's broke He isnt..

Mike Tyson didnt take a punch for the first 30 odd fights of his career and was loved for it !......David Haye fights a man who is ONLY rated 10th in the world and he has embarrassed himself Being a boxing fan is so enjoyable when you are impartial but it must be harrowing if you are besotted with certain fighters like some on here are ( not saying you are Stealthy ).....to be desperately hoping that a fellow Englishman loses so that he wont be a threat to your hero f**k me whats that all about i cant see the fun in that

I think the driving test should be a lot more difficult its just unrealistic to think that everyone can pass it......being a good driver is just not something every single one of us will be,thats basic logic.......im not the greatest driver in the world but i drive well enough to pass a test......but i remember when my daughter first passed her test and i bought her a car i couldnt believe how bad she drove......the thought that she could of legally got behind the wheel of a 180mph supercar is absoutely ridiculous !

Thats a shame i havent spoken to Trevor in years but always remember him as a man with great knowledge who told the truth of his feelings didnt care who he upset he was just a dogman in every sense of the word......caused a lot of controversy and made some strange decisions but was always chasing perfection and i admired that about him......dungarees and carpet slippers thats right seemed to suffer with his health as far back as i can remember......may he rest in peace.
