What a bizarre nation of sports fans we are.....David Haye is not a legitimate heavyweight in todays times yet is desperately trying to compete with far bigger men than himself in order to win the greatest prize in his chosen sport.....a 6ft 3 inch 14 - 15 stone man having to compete in a division dominated by men 5 and 6 inches taller........3 and 4 stone heavier.............it seems like we have become a nation of Americans thinking we are the best because we have the biggest and the little man should be belittled and abused !!......why would any normal Englishman be slagging Haye off for tr

Its not a case of keeping the flag flying mate.....i,ll be a patriotic Englishman till my final breath.......it just angers me as it would anybody who stood up for what they believed in only to get laughed at and told we were lunatics ........its like me being a lifelong West Ham fan and some of my so called mates deciding they were going to support Millwall.....but now suddenly changing their mind wanting to support West Ham and trying to tell me what needs to change around here !!........no f**k you......you made your bed you lie in it !

I actually think the biggest fight out there for Haye ( world title wise ) will be if Tony Bellew can pick up a cruiserweight belt.......im pretty sure Haye could still do cruiserweight with ease and id fancy him to iron Bellew right out....but with the right promotion it would be a big money fight.............but again,it all depends what he has left he hasnt got a lot of miles on the clock and he looks after himself so i dont see any reason he wont be back at least close to his best.

Put weight in it for a start......get the right range of movement and the right focus and you dont need to be shifting huge amounts of weight around to promote muscle growth. The bands are ok though you,ll get a decent little shoulder workout with them if you are inventive.

By nature he isnt even a 15 stone fighter....when he went in the jungle program the other year he couldnt hold weight on because he wasnt training/eating correctly and so went down to nothing he is the type of guy that has to constantly work to hold the weight on whereas the true heavyweights have to work to keep the weight off ! Its a shame because in terms of distance timing and pure punch delivery he has the beating of all of them but they are simply too big for him.

Would it be rude to ask why you dont have access to any equipment whatsoever ?.....if your about do get banged up all nicks have gyms ....besides which you must have access to at least a pillowcase theres no end of exercises you can do with a pillowcase....2 all the better In all seriousness ive seen more people injure themself with bodyweight exercises than free weights particularly bodyweight shoulder exercises which are renowned for rotator cuff injuries as the objective is as much on balance as moving weight which is a dangerous combination at the best of times.....im not a fan of bo

Handstand push ups belong in a Rocky training montage along with the reverse sit ups and all the other balancing acts.....they look good thats all......unless you are drilling your head through the floor your shoulders are not even being worked your triceps are doing all the work its like pressing a barbell overhead but only lowering it to the top of your head !

Do you really believe that Bosun ?.....i think it was his first world title fight against the Frenchman i forget his name now but i remember him getting off the canvas to stop him he was also very honest in his defeat to Carl Thompson so i dont think he lacks heart....i just think some fighters are too intelligent for their own good !....Haye is a knowledgeable,astute and articulate man i think a fighter like him can often let his head rule his heart......us thick fuckers convince ourself we can beat anyone,its a desired trait to feel unbeatable but its not realistic......i think Haye is just

In the late 90,s i finished off a sentance at Hollesley Bay in Suffolk it was fantastic......it was a working farm i loved it i came out and moved out to the country .....we would be allowed a 90 minute walk round the whole site every evening you could see onto the beech,mates would sneak in at night and bury bottles of drink or whatever it was you wanted then next day at work you would just go out,dig them up and put them in your " room "....not cell....your " room "....yes plasterboard walls and wooden doors !.....i won some decent money there i became the greatest pool player on Stow wing.

Wide grip is chest....close grip is predominantly a triceps exercise. Why anybody with access to a barbell would f**k about doing hand stand press ups is beyond me its a prison cell exercise.

I dont normally start watching the big snooker tournaments until about the quarter/semi final stage.....hows the kid Trump getting on these days has he got a chance ?......a little bird told me years ago he would be world champion one day so i tend to lump my money on him most of the time

I dont buy this carefree " if my times up its up " attitude that some folk like to give off ive seen a number of physically and mentally tough people with attitudes like that who once in that position did whatever it took to stay alive our instinct for survival is often a different thing to what we think it will be....if it wasnt and we did stroll through life with this " let the chips fall where they may " mentality then most of us wouldnt be reaching the end of the week let alone our 60,s/70,s and ,s !.......Being aware of our own safety is an instinct theres nothing wrong with being afraid

Same here all of them Clint ones for me....infact anything with Lee Van Cleef in he was just about the coolest geezer ever in my eyes ( apart from Bobby Moore of course ).....although The Searchers,Unforgiven etc were probably better films i could watch them old Clint/Van Cleef ones over and over.

I wouldnt say ive given up but ive certainly accepted this is a battle i will never win on a personal level......the goal for our generation as individuals was to be able to walk down places like the Edgware Rd and feel like we are at home yet that vision has never been further away than what it is today.......ok you win some you lose some......but when the people who sold out on groups like us back then are the very same people who today try to put us on some kind of guilt trip for not standing shoulder to shoulder with them,it does seem like somewhat of a liberty.....call them naive,say they

Fair comment i can understand that.....but we are West Ham you are Man Utd !........Mourinho is just a good Sam Allardyce the football wont improve you will just win things...... as a fan of a lesser club like i am..... good fast fair attacking football is what i associate with Man Utd and you wont get that with Mourinho.....so what do you want trophies or good football ?
