  1. Understandable,,mate,,,are you or her mum going,,,or is it with a dance group,,,,? I'm seperated with her mum but she's going with her, still uneasy about it tbh. Cant live your life like that mate limiting our freedom of movement is exactly what these sick c**ts want......im fully expecting some sort of catastrophe at the Euro,s in France this June but the minute we start obsessively watching our backs in that way.... we,ve lost.......im sure your ladies will be just fine.
  2. Ive only been there a few times mate but being as how no f****r has replied i,ll tell you what i know which isnt much ......ive been in the middle tier one time and upper tier another, both times at the North end.....to be fair its a fantastic stadium......like many new stadiums theres probably not many bad seats at all although i do remember a few of our fans moaning that their seats were virtually behind one of the big screens and they couldnt see the whole pitch.....i remember being surprised how steep it was in the upper tiers they really are nose bleed seats but again its not bad views as
  3. Same thing happened with me and my son Lassie ......so ungrateful
  4. I reckon the break down in communication was probably down to the fact you was asked for a simple yes or no answer but didnt give a yes or no......im no psychologist but my guess would be the reason you didnt is because you didnt want to commit yourself either way........which in itself is pretty frightening !!
  5. Nice film i always enjoy watching that.......could of done with having subtitles though !
  6. From what my son has told me those Jap cars are popular because they are so tuneable......those straight six Skyline engines are bullet proof and are not a lot of money for the speed you get when compared with other cars that can go under 3 secs 0 - 60......i think the 90,s R34 Gtr was a fantastic car for the money though as someone else said when your younger you have a different outlook to speed.......i cant stand the cheapo plastic trim and ropey old interiors in those Gtr,s but performance wise they are very impressive.
  7. Dont take this as faultless as it was a while ago now but i bought an Italian car from an American a few years back so looked into it all and im sure the standard car rate is 10% import duty and 20% vat but only on the price of the car you dont pay duty on the shipping though you do pay vat on it.....the car i bought was classed as vintage and so is imported not as a vehicle but as a " collectors item " similar to if you was importing an antique or a painting.....and so qualified for zero import duty and a reduced rate of vat 5% i think it was......so if its a 1950,s truck you would do the sam
  8. yeah mate there not everyone's cup of tea, but you described it perfectly about that deep aggressive rumble for me, the guy near you doing a rat rod should end up looking pretty impressive you will hear it before you see it.....lol they have custom shows here in the local pub car park, and you wonna see the time, effort and money that goes into them, its outstanding what they end up looking like, and when it comes time for them to leave and they start, starting there engines, its like a massive rumbling under your feet, that v8 heavenly sound. Absolutely.....i drive a v8 today but its no
  9. Thats a good little project he,s done there i love seeing old motors livened up like that it sounds like he,s put a Rover v8 in it have you got any idea what gearbox he matched it up to ?.....im no mechanic but as youngsters we put a rover v8 in a mark 1 Escort i remember the biggest problem we had was the gearbox ended up with a sd1 if i remember right that was back in the days when anyone could pick up a spanner and mess about with an engine nowadays i dont even bother lifting the bonnet i wouldnt have a clue what im looking at any more.
  10. The problem with age is that it is simply a number! As you point out a 17 year old was apparently not very mature, but on the reverse a 15 year old may be VERY mature for their age! The specifics of this particular case is something most here only know about through the media. Whatever anyone feels about the footballer, we would not be debating this if she had been a little older, so what makes it fine at 16 when you yourself say 17 was immature? Some seem to think at 15years 364 days he is a disgusting ****** who should have his balls removed, whilst a day later its fine.
  11. Ive seen that a few times in London its owned by some little Arab kid he has an Aventador as well wrapped in black velvet .....absolutely revolting !
  12. LIke them or loathe them you have to admire what the Hearns have done for sport in Britain.......who would of ever thought 60,000 people would turn up to watch domestic fights in British boxing rings.......likewise who would of ever thought 15/20,000 people would turn up to watch a game of darts !......Much as i hoped Frank Warrens boys would continue to carry the torch of the ol man they just havent got the personality Eddie Hearn has got he is a fantastic businessman in his own right and of course he was born with a silver spoon in his gob but its some father and son job they have done fair
  13. Im sure i heard on Talksport last week that fella cashed out for 29 grand......i thought it was a bad move myself no guts no glory and all that. Would it be the biggest footballing achievement.....im not sure its as big as Forest winning the European Cup 2 years running after coming up from the second division a few years earlier.....but it would certainly be great for modern day top class football.
  14. LItter.....in jolly old Oxfordshire.....i didnt think there was such a thing Ive found some lovely spots over that way on my occasional inane and meaningless jaunts to find a nice eatery.......dont think ive ever seen so much as a crisp packet blowing in the wind what ive seen has been immaculate.

  16. Another thing that a lot of fighters do is soak their hands in concentrated salt water....its not pleasant but it does toughen them in a similar way to how when you go to the beech and have a cut it heals quickly because of the salt in sea water.
  17. Ridiculous as this will sound.....when i was taking bodybuilding far more serious than i do now i used to shave the calluses on my hands and buy those liquid gel vitamin e capsules, break them apart and smear them on my hands.....it really did work a treat especially if your hands are getting cut up and roughed up on a daily basis.
  18. What speedway team do you follow mate. Am i right in thinking theres a team called the Hammers over Thurrock way?.....got to be the best surely ?

  20. Oh right sorry mate i thought it was code for either an illness or a postcode or something my mistake 1st school year eh its all go for you then.
  21. Wow this is quite scarey hearing the views of folk we share opinions with every day on here ......someone mentioned Jimmy Saville.......so would Saville cease to be a paedo if he had got caught on his first offence then ?......im loathe to call any man names of that magnitude unless 100% proven but if Johnson was capable of doing what he did who knows what else he was capable of.....most men simply couldnt do it the same as most men simply couldnt have sex with another man is it possible to be a bit of a nonce likewise is it possible to be a bit gay......either you are or your not capable in
  22. Ive had loads of folk over the years ask me if i knew the Krays they look so disappointed when i say no Stans right people in every city across the country has a story to tell about them.......they didnt say boo to a goose when they was alive mind you !
  23. A schoolgirl having a crush on an older succesful man is perfectly natural.......an older succesful man having a crush on a schoolgirl is just about as unnatural as it gets.......how anybody could feel anything other than anger towards such a man is beyond my logic ! I don't think anyone has said he has done nothing wrong But many people including myself agree with what Hopkins has said I do not see the girl as some innocent naive victim in all this she knew exactly what was happening but the media has described her as some innocent little schoolgirl child Just because a girl has
  24. Im not a fan of the big yank tanks myself but i must admit i do love the sound of a big lazy v8 an old boy who lives a few miles from me collects them he,s doing a rat rod project at the moment a 1930,s Ford Model A its in a thousand pieces at the moment but every time i pass by he gives me the old " look worse before it looks better " statement ......i drove a big Pontiac Firebird thing around for a few weeks as a youngster ended up taking out a telephone box the back end just slid out was lucky i didnt kill anyone....it was a left hooker and worthless by the time id finished with it but s
