I think the time has come where boxing has so many belts available that nobody really pays them much attention any more.......at the end of the day a fight is a fight i think we are now getting into times where the fight itself is far bigger than the belt thats being fought for whether thats a good or a bad thing i dont know.......if Joshua fought Haye next week in a non title bout i guarentee it would sell quicker than Fury v Klitchko for a,b and c belts on the same day.....look at the way Golovkin is chasing a non title bout with Eubank Jnr or the way all the heavyweights wanted to fight Jos

When has it ever been any different ?.....the heavyweight championship of the world is the richest prize in sport......when Buster Douglas beat Tyson he didnt even bother training for his next fight and virtually walked into the ring and laid down as he knew his life was already changed forever.......sadly in heavyweight boxing sometimes one fight or one punch can change everything........only a real competitor truly wants to unify and defend titles......look at Fury now he,s constantly talking about retiring having achieved his goal already......some sportsmen just dont have that true competi

Once you get your heads round it you,ll probably have a really enjoyable season i know i did when the Hammers went down it was great going to some of these shitty little grounds it brings back some realism and appreciation of what it was we all originally fell in love with about following our clubs without all the week to week drama of top flight football......its plenty competetive enough and they,ll need to get their troubles sorted lively if they want to come straight back up.....but i wouldnt expect a club of Villas size and stature to be rolling round the championship for too long.

I,ll chat about sport with anyone mate it makes no odds to me how much or how little they know.......i regularly talk with folk in gyms who know far more than me about boxing its how we learn........admittedly i dont try to bullshit my way through conversations with them to pretend i know what im talking about if i dont....but hey we all walk our own path

Max stop using terms you dont know the meaning of........there is a huge difference between gassing and simply being out of breath !.......theres no fighter alive that doesnt get out of breath it doesnt mean they are gassed........gassed is when a fighter doesnt have the recuperative powers to recover their energy........Joshua was out of breath after a few rounds against Whyte the same as every fighter gets out of breath after piling pressure on.......the fact he recovered to knock the man out indicates he wasnt gassed !!

Yep fair points........the way we maybe see things slightly different though Neems is i havent seen anything in Fury that makes me think a Vlad that has legs cant close him down......Vlad hasnt got to this point of his career without knowing how to cut a ring down and Fury wont have ever been pressed by a pure athlete......that unrelenting horrible feeling you get as a fighter where you just cant keep the man off and sneak little breathers here and there.......ok Vlad is not a pressure fighter and never has been but if he has the legs to he can make Fury very uncomfortable.......Chisora i thin

That is so true......all heavyweight ko artists get compared to Mike Tyson as he was the most spectacular banger of our generation......yet i dont seem to recall anyone standing on their chair complaining about the quality of journeymen he was walking through !......folk were super impressed when baddest man on the planet was punching fork lift truck drivers through the ropes and into the front row for his first 25 fights yet big Josh has 8 or 9 easy learning fights and its all a big con !! What do you think he was doing in those 18 months playing domino,s ?................age is irrelevant they are both big strong healthy young men.....what is important is ring time and experience.......Joshua has hardly any,Fury has a lot. Obviously its the sooner the better for Fury but Joshua has still only fought 34 rounds in his entire boxing career.....thats not even 3 fights in ring experience !........but i dare say like the rest of his career he,ll be pushed in before he,s ready.
