I was a gym owner in the east end of London for many years Rusty......so being an ex fighter who knows a lot of local fighters and trainers i frequent the local gyms on a regular basis and have known Joshuas trainer for many years......so it isnt really the most extraordinary situation in the world for a local ex fighter to do a bit of pad work with current local fighters......i mean ok if thats something to get excited about then each to their own but if Cushty wants to book me as a bus conductor from South Shields i honestly dont have a problem with that

Find the post where i said i sit ringside with Barry Hearn at boxing shows and i,ll give you 5 grand.......if you dont/cant Cushty i trust you will be honouring the bet and i,ll have 5 grand coming back my way. you sound quite passionate towards the guy, which is fine, but.........i wouldn't say Ronnie is the most talented sportsman that we have had for the last fifty years, nor, as you say, you can't think of who's as talented in any other sport.....i don't think you can compare a snooker player to.....any other sport.....other than snooker, he probably is, one of the most talented snooker players that's been around, but, each sport has it's own different talent levels...so you can't weigh them up against each other really, i personally think it takes more talent to race a motorbike/car, rather than

I think the time has come where boxing has so many belts available that nobody really pays them much attention any more.......at the end of the day a fight is a fight i think we are now getting into times where the fight itself is far bigger than the belt thats being fought for whether thats a good or a bad thing i dont know.......if Joshua fought Haye next week in a non title bout i guarentee it would sell quicker than Fury v Klitchko for a,b and c belts on the same day.....look at the way Golovkin is chasing a non title bout with Eubank Jnr or the way all the heavyweights wanted to fight Jos

When has it ever been any different ?.....the heavyweight championship of the world is the richest prize in sport......when Buster Douglas beat Tyson he didnt even bother training for his next fight and virtually walked into the ring and laid down as he knew his life was already changed forever.......sadly in heavyweight boxing sometimes one fight or one punch can change everything........only a real competitor truly wants to unify and defend titles......look at Fury now he,s constantly talking about retiring having achieved his goal already......some sportsmen just dont have that true competi

Once you get your heads round it you,ll probably have a really enjoyable season i know i did when the Hammers went down it was great going to some of these shitty little grounds it brings back some realism and appreciation of what it was we all originally fell in love with about following our clubs without all the week to week drama of top flight football......its plenty competetive enough and they,ll need to get their troubles sorted lively if they want to come straight back up.....but i wouldnt expect a club of Villas size and stature to be rolling round the championship for too long.
