Just get on the M4 heading west and follow the signs for Carmarthen. As said above about an hours drive but a straight road. TC

I was thinking the same thing. I was wondering if it was that people who buy off Hancock cannot get what they desire elsewhere and would not have the opportunity / ability or even want to breed for themselves? TC
-
The mind games have started for the first test, http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/22841337 I just love them. TC

Sounds like a job for the A team with the long nets. That would sort them. TC

All sizes of nets have a place in the field, from 5 yarders to 100 yard nets. It all depends on the ground you are working what size net you use. Rabbits can be fairly predictable as to where they will run if you have large fields they will not usually run out into the open field, but along the hedgerows. Smaller fields prove more difficult to predict. The same with very large open warrens you can bet your bottom dollar that they will hole hop along the warren. Unless, there is a place of sanctuary near by, then they usually head for that. This is how a very large field was netted the

I can agree with your points about using proven dogs as stud dogs. Take bryn for an example. Bryn is a first cross Collie Greyhound and has proven his worth in the field. BUT, that is not to say that he can pass on those abilities to any pups he sired. As unless he was put to a collie greyhound too many other factors can change the formular that makes him what he is. I know nothing about genetics But I find it hard to believe that what a dog learns in it's lifetime can be passed on in it's genes. However, I am willing to be corrected on that. Hancocks dogs are prolific stud dogs and to say

I think some peoples only dislike. . . . . is simply not wishing to buy a pup from a puppy farm that always has pups available. And it is their 'right' to feel that way. Also, I think that in the right hands, a very high percentage of collie x greys, whoever bred them, will kill rabbits for you. It's each to their own. I can respect that. What I cannot understand though is when people say he will sell to anyone as if others who breed do not. Some are conscientious in who they sell too, most are not a trawl through pre-loved will show that. With all due respect to the consci

I suppose the proof of the pudding so to speak would be how many of Hancocks dogs end up on the merry-go-round or in pounds. Out all the Hancock dislikers for the way he earns his living, not one has given any proof that a higher proportion of dogs in pounds and on the merry-go-round are from his kennels. I just cannot understand this holier-than-though attitude regarding him. A few facts. The man knows the pedigree of each and every dog. He is 100% honest in his dealings. People who have his dogs often go back for more. He sells his pups at a fair price. People for

I have met a few off here, some as far back as 20+ years ago. None that I have met would be the type that you would say Ohh feck here he comes again and most have been ohh theres so-and-so i'll have to have a chat with him. TC

While it's hard to argue against those sentiments. I have heard on here of Hancock telling people his dogs would not suit thier needs. And unless someone vets every customer (because that is what they are when somone puts a price tag on a dog) no one really knows what type of home their pup is going too. TC

I have bought of Hancock, and there again I have bought of Phil Lloyd. I saw no difference in the condition of each of the pups. Each pup had been well fed and looked after. The kennels at Hancocks place were clean, infact I would say cleaner than the rest of the place. I did decline the kind offer of a cup of tea when paying for the pup. While the pup from Phil was from a one off mating, All I knew about the pup was he was out of Speckle from another collie cross of pedigree unknown to me. With the Hancock pup I knew what I had parentage wise. There is no way that someone could contin

The team for the combined country was announced yesterday. Right team announced for Tuesdays game... 15. Maitland 14. Cuthbert 13.BOD 12. Roberts 11. North 10 hogg 9. Murray 1. Corbisiero 2. Hibbard 3. Cole 4. Gray 5. Evans 6. O'Brien 7. Tipuric 8. Heaslip Bench Best, Grant, Stevens, AW Jones, Faletau, Phillips, Davies, Halfpenny Seems Hogg is in more favour than hook as an utility back. Looking at that pack though it does seem as if he will get go forward ball. Its the back-up spot for 10 for him to take Tuesday. There have been romours that Sextons hamstring is playing up,

Great offer, does the third man have to be male? Seriously though, long netting is not about the size of the bags it's about the whole expereince. That said a good bag does not go amiss now and again . Edited to add: If only you were closer!!!! TC

One thing is for certain Zebo does not lack for pace. If he has the defence of Bowe? Well QED. He is great in attack mode but I have not seen enough of him to be able to comment on his defence. As a bye I think that Cuthbert has played himself out of a start for the first test with his 'lack of defence'. TC

It's like pulling hens teeth, but we are getting there Info that you may take for granted, and do without a second thought will be very helpfull to people starting out, please keep it coming. TC

My stream packed up just after half time and I tried others but could not get it back From what I seen cooper could have just played his self in to the ausie squad? What the hell Stevens is doing I do not know, all I seen him do was hit rucks late and sit on his arse watching them carry on with play. The first half was close to the intensity they needed, wish I could have seen the last 20. TC

Hopefully, tomorrow will see a rise in itensity, Quade Cooper has been given the captincy of the reds, a chance to play himself back into the Australian squad? TC

Vinupola will be knackered after tomorrows game, he really does put himself around the pitch and for a big man has a fair turn of speed. It is a pity about the counties numbers otherwise I would have fancied Paul James for a shirt. He can play both sides of the scrum and is a pretty good scavenger. TC

Thats one hell of a shock. get well soon Joe. TC

John Orr is a crank what he knows about long netting can be written on the back of a postage stamp in capital letters. Even Smithie who has been netting only a couple of years, knows far more than John Orr ever will. People seem to be obsessed by numbers, if you live in an area with large numbers of rabbits it stands to reason you will catch large numbers of rabbits with long nets. There is no great feat in that, just the bragging rights. People like him who are willing to rip off fellow rabbiters really boil my piss. Rant over. TC

I use one of these needle threader. Place it over the tick and gently pull it back till you have the wire on the ticks probe, then steadily lift the threader applying pressure as you lift. Never left a ticks probe in an animal yet with it. TC

Rip your corset off? Back on topic though, see a few but not as many as usual. TC
