What surprised me was not the BOBS but the serverity of the court sentences. 1 calender month hard labour for being drunk? TC

Not sure if that would work... i think the resin would just crack...The outer edges...where only the resin was....cracked when touched.... I think the material acts as the fibre for bonding and strengthening.... Wont be making another anyway Just something else i can say 'ive tried'....along with the pipe catapult...and spatula catty thats why i said do it before the other coats dried, this would allow it to bond to the material. how does Midnight make his micarta handles? always looks stunning once he's weaved his magic. got to be happy with a first attempt though blue, as long as it do

To get more of a sheen on it you could try polishing it with brasso or tcut. TC

I wonder if it goes brittle when set? Looks fine to me though. TC

I can see where your coming from Smithie, I just wonder even with a slack line how the net will sit in two ruts, as there are always two, 18" deep thats an extra 6' of line in the depth of the rut without the width. Even supposing you get the depth, it will inevitably rob that section of the net of bag. As I stated earlier, had I done that field with the ruts again I would have cut the holly before hand and it would have been available to me to block the ruts once the net was set. It had to be holly as that is what the hedges are in those fields, any bush would do as long as it blocks the

I think it is the way it is brought on that determines how the dog fairs at any discipline. The second GWP I had really did not love the water he would enter but under duress. I had him as a rescue when the owner was going to live abroad and all he had done with him was pheasants and rabbits. he would retrieve but was really slugish, where as what he had been trained on he excelled at. As with most dogs you get out what you put in. But with the foundations already there a GWP can hunt like a spaniel, retrieve like a lab and still be going when the other dogs have had enough.A As always jus

Dim ond y ffordd Saesneg o wneud yn siŵr y gallant gadw rheolaeth ar y wlad. Yn eu pen bawb oedd yn siarad Cymraeg yn cynllwynio yn eu herbyn. Bet hyn yn mynd yn ychydig o Saesneg yn rhyfeddu. Dewch yn ôl Rebbeca i'n dweud. TC -
There is one drop I used to do that had deep tractor ruts in the gateway, and the first drop I done there I lost quite a few rabbits. The ruts were about 18" deep so the next time I done the drop I placed a purse net to cover the gap. It sort of worked as it caught the first rabbit but the others just went through the gap after it. Mixi hit the farm then and I have never been back there. If I do ever go back I will cut some holly and fill the tracks. TC

Again I am only speaking for myself, what I seen and how my dog behaved. If I sent him on a retrieve, be it blind where I would cast him down wind and trust his nose to find the bird. Or a seen runner he would, looking back, ignore all other types of game being totaly focused on his retrieve. To be honest from a pup he was nuts about retrieving just lived for it. If I wanted him to hunt it would be 'get on,' and he would search for game. Once I said 'go back' he would just go into retrieving mode and ignore other scents There is a winged pigeon in a gutter under the sloping tree I have

As stated we all do things differetly, I have never come accross a situation where I have needed to leave the bottom line loose. One question, how do you get tention on the head lines with the bottom line having no tention? The only way I can think of is tying the running line to the end peg. TC

Why? Does the title HPR not give you a clue as to what the dogs in the right hands can do? TC Like i said each breed to their own specialty,i`ve only seen 2 HPR breeds actually used in the picking up mode. And while we are on the subject of picking up..there are 2 categories of picking up, hoovers and pickers up for long distance birds that have flown on !" Each picker up plays a very important part on the shoot day of which the shoot could not function efficiently without the two working together ".. But reading, and as you seem to be an exponent of the HPR breed could you answer m

About 20 years ago a mate? and myself got pulled with no salmon with us. The bailifs made up some cock and bull story and the court believed them, outcome was £500 for placing a net and £500 for using a net. Ouch. TC

First question I would ask is, why do you want the footline slack? TC

Congrats England, you were just too strong in the second half. Wales are sadly missing in the muscle department. TC
