  4. Hiya Davy, It had to be in the field this time, I rubbed my fingers down the back (she had a lovely thick pelt) toawrds the hind legs and felt a solid lump! I had a really bad feeling that it was my pellet. Indeed it was my immediate thoughts were that the pellet had travelled there and had probably ripped through the stomach and the intestine and would probably taint the meat making it unedible So the quicker the guts came out the better. Luckily, that was not the case and I ate the Squizzer last night Tony
  5. Nice work Mike, looks a fair old size that bunny. It is hard to describe the taste of some meats, Squizzer is just best described as fecking lovely Tony
  6. Cheers guy's, Sat here stuffing my face with the squizzer now, slow cooked for 3 1/2 hours in Medeterainian herbs with flash fried onions and red and green peppers laid on a bed of mildly spiced long grain rice. Simply Exquizzer  Tony
  7. Nice work Darryl Both on the refurb and the shooting Tony
  8. In the years I've been shooting on those 3 pieces of land Mike, I've only seen two of them, this one is the first one I've ever had chance to shoot The first one I saw, I was so suprised by it, that I just sat there gun in my hands while I watched it run across the cemetery. I did the one Adam shot for me Mexican style, think this one is going Cajun Tony
  9. I actually put this story onto the end of Malt's Happy Birthday thread, then realised that it was in the General Airgun section, so decided to post it in here as well. I'd checked Zero all fine and dandy, nothing doing in the cemy so had a slow wander (In a bit of a daydream really) over to the paddock, caught a glimps of something in Mrs G's Orchard on the floor. Thought at 1st glance it was one of her cats, then it moved, a flash of grey fur and "ah a bunny!", just as that thought entered my mind, the fur began ascending a tree trunk "What the feck?" then the voice in my head told me "I
  10. Thank you guy's I went to back to Brough yesterday for the "Mid Summer Silly Season" Two days, 4 Birthdays, mine and my eldest girl one day, the eldest lad and youngest daughter on the 6th. I also spent time with my baby in the cemetery and slotted my very first Squizzer So a very good day indeed, one to remember. Took three .22 shots though! Here's how it went.... I'd checked Zero all fine and dandy, nothing doing in the cemy so had a slow wander (In a bit of a daydream really) over to the paddock, caught a glimps of something in Mrs G's Orchard on the floor. Thought at 1s
  11. What Cal, is your 200? .22 or .177 I use .22 and fill to 175 I would expect about 35 to 40 good shots before needing to compensate. Tony
  12. Come over to Hull; Apparently according to my mate; they pay buy the minute *SHUDDERS at the thought*
  13. The only place I know of that sell the MKIII stock is Chambers. It's not shown on the diagram but I know they do stock the MKIII Stock. http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24235&cat=S200#parts Good luck Tony
  14. If I remember correctly I did drill a little further into the hole under the breech, but if you can get a longer bolt then you wont need to. I also went a millimeter or two (litterally) further into the hole that the barrel band is secured to as my bolts were a touch too short, so nothing complicated at all. Tony
  15. Are you for real? Is it a MKII or a MKIII ? A MKII looks like what I am holding in the pic. Tony
  16. A gas ram is also a spring piston the gas being compressed, the piston being forced forward as the gas expands. They are either a break barrel or an underlever to cock it, just like a springer. They recoil much like a springer but it's faster and there is no sideways twist that a springer produces. Just the forward and back recoil. Tony
  17. Hello again Mr Gump I know you don't I? Thats it!!! I've seen you on the telly, yep your generally known as "Interferance". I've never heard of a "muskerer" let alone one with a chrony, you've completely lost me on that one I'm afraid Another point to make regarding the law on providing threaded barrels is that an RFD (or members of his staff) can not legally provide a barrel unless it is Face to Face transaction, hence the need to send of the entire gun off to the smith doing thew work. The work can then be done as a "Repair" and returned to the owner via mail/courrier qu
  18. Lovely little account of your fun Craig Well done. Tony
  19. We've had enough banter between us, to know what is banter and whats not And I didn't think you were being too serious Tony
  20. Nowt wrong with badges I'm not ashamed nor do I care that people know that I shoot, However no-one would ever guess that I am a shooter when I walk down the street with my jacket on. The four in a line indicates my aquired level with multishot pistols (Still got to do the Expert and Distinguished Expert levels when I can be bothered; then onto the Advanced Levels for speed and accuracy). The Star commemorates the Bianchi International 50th Anniversary Shoot. On the left is a Beretta Pin, Smith & Wesson Pin, a Bolt action Rifle Pin and my ID tag fo
