  1. Put simply, You Dont! There is a superb little piece written by Probuk on here that deals with Moles, have a read here http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/252418-moling-for-the-air-gunner/page__hl__moling Tony
  2. I love Foxes, but I cant wait to get a pelt for the wall (Preferably a fresh road kill one) I see loads around here running up and down the streets, I've even had the rather scarry experiance of one brushing up against my leg as it passed me one evening running between me and the traffic. I say scarry, because I wasn't expecting it, it was dark and I nearly shat mesen Wehen I clean the quarry in the cemy, I often leave the entrails at points around the place, to bring in the local foxes when there about the living bunnies tend to keep a low profile and do less damage, so the foxes m
  3. Then the person is even more of an idiot, deliberately risking the life of somebody and a possible life sentance just to get a negative press report. Tony
  4. Never good to hear of things like this, fecking moronic little bag of turd As you say Mary, incidents like this gives all us decent and sensible airgun users all a bad name and it's extra fuel for the AntiGun brigade. I know exactly how I'd treat the scumbag if I ever caught someone doing that Good to hear you were unharmed in the incident. Tony
  5. No shooting in the after life I'm gonna live forever then It was bad enough the exwife trying to stop me from shooting, no fecking way amI gonna let any type of god do the same
  6. Welcome back to the land of the hunters Glad your okay Tony
  7. You can look at a million websites, However the powers that be (the morons that make our legislation) created the VCR Act! The VCRA means that you can only buy guns (New) face to face! Pointless I know! But it means you must take Personal ID with you to buy any gun, It is now illegal to buy a new gun (rifle or pistol) or a 2nd hand gun from a business (Registered Firearms Dealer). The only way you can buy a gun through the mail/via a website is to buy 2nd user/2nd hand. Tony Edit:..... That is "Violent Crime Reduction Act".... not Video Cassette Recording Act
  8. Been thinking about this for a bit now If you really must have an exit hole/wound then it is imperative that you use a .177 in the brain preferably no further than 30 yards and use something like the Thunderbolt Zinc jobs! But again, loads of practice on paper Tony
  9. Not yet, but planning on doing so soon Tony
  10. Crap! I'd best get the trains sorted then! Davy, whats the nearest railway station? I've got to book at least 4 weeks in advance to get decent fares And can you pick me and SRT up from the station bud? Tony
  11. Sounds like e*uyer.*om where I used to work! We had to search the staff three times before they left the site, fecking nightmare working there it was Pleanty of bunnies around as well, it was the middle of nowhere, surrounded by fields for miles around! Tony
  12. Try this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gun-Rail-20mm-22mm-Weaver-For-Rifle-Scope-Rifle-Or-Pistol-Weaver-Rail-/251068752231?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item3a74dd2167 Tony
  13. You can fit a weaver/picitiny rail to the base of the forestock, or like me you can 'adapt' the forestock with a bit of work. Fitting a weaver would be the easiest method in my opinion Tony
  14. Well done to you both Don't think I've come across one of the Firebirds before. Tony
  15. A lightweight Air Arms S200 in either .22 or .177 (doesn't matter as long as you can learn to shoot and put the pellet where it needs to go) with a pump to charge it up from. A scope, (Hawke Sport High Definition ones are great and reasonable prices), a Twink MKII Silencer and a lot of paper targets to practice with and your sorted Tony PS welcome to the forum
  16. I got a similar version for mine that I've been using for years. Paid about 17 or 18£ for it including delivery from China. Didn't have the rail adaptor though. Tony
  17. Awsome Ron I'd love to get a bag like that Tony
  18. If Darryl doesn't want to go further, you can use me as a test case Tony
  19. What like getting his Caution overturned and his now criminal record wiped clean? I'd be up for that as it would also wipe mine clean and overturn my caution as well But how would we go about it? Without spending money that we dont have on solicitors we cant afford? Tony
  20. Bloody ell Simon, Heres me thinking your a mild mannerd gentleman who wouldn't hurt a fly I didn't know you had that in you Very well said :clapper: Pianoman for Primenister Tony
  21. My Cree's are a Red one (red led) that puts out 250-200 Lumens (lumans are a measurement of light hitting the subject and not the traditional Candle Power which is the power of the source). My White LED is 300 Lumens and easilly shows up the bunnies at 60+ yards but like I say the light is BLINDING and does tend to disturb the quarry. My 'Gun Lamp' is a Deben Tracer Atom. The Tracer Atom is much lower in output even at full output, but the reflector is dappled, this makes the light much softer and the bunnies dont get disturbed as much. I also have an infra red Cree bulb unit, which will be
  22. I use both the Cree Tacticals and a 'Propper' gun lamp. The cree's are brilliant, but I've found that the 'softer' light from the Deben lamp does not spook the bunnies as much. The light from the Cree's really is 'Blinding' but it can be softened somewhat. The smaller cree lamps also suffer in the really cold months, due to rechargable batteries not liking the cold. Tony
